The Purity of Your Original Nature

Your original nature is inherently pure, untainted by any defilement. Yet, as you have wandered through the cycle of rebirth, you have become covered in the dust of the world. This state of being is created by the mind, which gives rise to the poison of greed. You must realise that these worldly attachments are not the truth. The true nature of the universe is clearly manifest, yet you struggle so hard to seek knowledge outside of yourself. Why labour in such suffering when the truth is already within you?

The Illusion of the Material World

It is easy to understand the mind, but it is difficult to change your habits. You must be repenting for the karmic causes and effects that have accumulated through your past actions. When you encounter your , treat them as you would treat yourself. Only through deep can these grievances cease. Counsel yourself in this life to adjust your breath and your heart. Being gentle and straightforward is not a difficult task if you are willing to let go of your past rigidity and resentment.

The Path of Repentance and Compassion

Diligently practise the Buddha-vows to help yourself become pure. All of your bad habits stem from the thought of greed. By practising contentment and diligent practice, you will reveal your true nature. If you know your past, accept the call to change. This is the essence of knowing your fate and correcting yourself. Keep the six-character name of the Buddha in your heart at all times. Adjust your mind as you wish, moment by moment. Receive the compassionate of the Buddha, and vow to be guided to the of Ultimate Bliss.

The Power of the Buddha-Name

The practice of chanting Namo Amituofo is the most direct way to return to your original nature. When you keep the Buddha's name in your heart, you are constantly adjusting your mind, moving from confusion to , from wrong paths to the right path, and from impurity to purity. This is the path of the Buddha-vow, a path that leads all beings to leave suffering behind and find true happiness. Let your vow be firm, and let your practice be consistent. Through the grace of Namo Amituofo, you will find your way home.
