The Burden of Karmic Mud

How much mud have you allowed to stain your body? These are the karmic obstacles that cloud your true nature and keep you bound to the cycle of rebirth. When you are covered in such heavy layers of impurity, it is difficult for your true self to shine through. You must be patient and diligent in washing away these stains; do not let them linger upon your spirit. If you wish to progress, you must commit yourself to the work of purification, ensuring that no residue of past negativity remains to hinder your journey.

The Turbulence of the Heart

Consider how many emotions you carry within your heart. These are often volatile, shifting like the changing winds. In a single moment, you may experience , anger, sorrow, or happiness. Because these emotions are so fleeting and varied, how can you ever find true peace of mind? When every thought is focused on , you only invite more suffering. How, then, can you achieve a state of purity? The most effective strategy is to turn your focus entirely toward the name of Namo Amituofo. You must have faith that this is the supreme path to liberation.

The Wandering Spirit

How many nights have you spent in dreams where your spirit wanders, unable to return to your body? When you follow these dreams into other spaces, you travel far, and it becomes difficult to awaken. You may wonder: how can your three hun souls and seven po souls be called back to your physical form? We are fortunate that Practitioner Su is here to help. Through the power of his , he seeks out these wandering spirits. With the ringing of the bell, he calls them home and provides the necessary protection. You must be mindful not to fall back into such dreams and forget to return to your body.

The Protection of the Path

When your three hun souls and seven po souls are all safely anchored within, you possess a complete spirit. Only then can your remain focused, free from the fog of . Only then can you truly practise with diligence and see your true nature. The path of practice is filled with many dangers that are difficult to fully describe. You must be cautious at every step. Fortunately, you have the guidance of the Buddha and the support of Practitioner Su, who are always protecting you along the way, never leaving your side.

A Call to Diligent Practice

You must listen closely to the words of the Buddha and follow the path set by Practitioner Su. Be diligent and courageous in your efforts. Practise the , engage in sincere repentance, and correct your past mistakes. Do not follow your own whims or act according to your personal desires. Do not let yourself fall into the mud of karmic obstacles, for it is difficult to escape once you are trapped. Do not allow your emotions to lead you into a state of confusion, and do not let your spirit scatter in all directions. Above all, do not retreat or stand still, for that is not the way of a true practitioner.

The time to practise in this Buddha-land is now. Because you have the Buddha and Practitioner Su protecting you, you are never alone. By breaking through your current difficulties, you will be able to move forward. Seeking to rediscover your true nature is the most important task of your life. Through this, you will save yourself and enter into the work of saving the world. Namo Amituofo.
