The of a New Beginning

Spring arrives with joyful news, and a joyful heart welcomes the arrival of this auspicious season. When you nurture your mind with pure and righteous intentions, you create the conditions for goodness to manifest in your life. As we step into this new year, let us hold the name of Namo Amituofo in our hearts, allowing the light of the Buddha to guide our every step.

The Magnificence of the

Even during the festive period of the Lunar New Year, the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia remains steadfast in its mission. We continue to hold the magnificent Thrice Yearning Ceremony without pause. From the eve of the New Year through to the first day, we conduct three consecutive ceremonies to ensure that the light of the shines brightly for all.

During these ceremonies, we establish various memorial tablets to provide spiritual support and deliverance for all beings:

  • World Peace Tablets:
  • Dedicated to the stability and harmony of our global community.Ancestral Tablets:
  • Honouring the generations of ancestors who have come before us.Practitioner Tablets:
  • Supporting the Venerables and lay practitioners on their path to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.Sentient Beings Tablets: Offering to all sentient beings with karmic affinity who seek to leave suffering behind.

Through the compassionate of the Buddha, we pray for favourable weather, the prosperity of our nation, and lasting peace throughout the world.

Cultivating a Heart of Compassion

We sincerely hope that everyone can keep a kind heart and keep the Buddha present in their thoughts. As you gather with your family to celebrate the New Year, please do not forget to maintain your practice. Even amidst the festivities, continue to chant Namo Amituofo. By doing so, you not only purify your own mind but also extend the power of your practice to save and benefit all sentient beings.

A Perpetual Practice of Deliverance

The path of practice is one of constant renewal. Whether you are at home or visiting the temple, the commitment to leave suffering behind and find true happiness remains the same. If you wish to participate in the ceremonies to help your ancestors or find rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, please contact the temple directly to make the necessary arrangements. May your new year be filled with the light of wisdom and the peace of the Pure Land.
