Awakening the Dharma Body

An Interview with Ma Yun on Health and Deliverance

Recorded at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre

This is a record of an interview with Ma Yun, who sought spiritual deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He reflects upon his journey toward his and his newfound understanding of the Law of Cause and Effect. This interview was recorded by the chief writer, Haipin, on September 2, 2018.

Ma Yun speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Ma Yun. For a long time, due to persistent physical discomfort, I had been unable to go for a jog. My body had become so frail that the idea of running felt like trying to catch the wind—an impossible task. I remember clearly when I was young, during the early days of my entrepreneurial journey, I would often work day and night. After a short nap to recharge, my favourite way to relieve stress was always a good run. It was my escape, my way of feeling alive.

The Fading Vitality of a Busy Life

Today, however, when I woke up, I felt a sense of vitality and energy that I had not experienced in years. In the past, no matter how long I rested, I always felt a lingering, heavy fatigue that I could never fully shake off. But this morning, there was a refreshing clarity. This feeling was a sign—a sign that I had finally found the path back to health. It is truly something that cannot be solved by money, no matter how many billions or trillions you possess. I have seen the best doctors and taken the finest supplements, yet nothing worked. It was only through the proper application of the Body by my senior brother, Practitioner Su, that I truly felt it. I have come to realise that the Buddha’s teachings can truly help so many people, provided one can awaken their true nature and realise the Dharma Body.

The Hidden Truth of Our Cells

People who worship Western medicine often do not understand the true code of the human body. Biologists rack their brains studying cytology and pathology, yet they remain unaware that thousands of years ago, the great Buddha’s teachings—and the great Namo Amituofo—had already revealed the answers. It is a great pity that so few people know this. Do they truly understand what it means for the Buddha to be the Great Physician?

My senior brother, Practitioner Su, is a true reincarnation of a Buddha. He has provided real evidence that our cells are actually the dwelling places for the we have accumulated over countless lifetimes. These creditors are always waiting, poised to strike. The moment the host harbours a negative thought, they immediately launch an attack. In mild cases, this manifests as aches, pains, or inflammation; in severe cases, it leads to cancer. The various cases of healing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia are proof that these words are not empty claims.

A Vow to Protect the Dharma

I rely solely on my own personal experience and physical sensations to reach this deep understanding. True Buddha’s teachings can regulate the human heart, heal human illnesses, and provide us with a place to return to after death. How could such a great Dharma be allowed to fade into obscurity? It must be promoted vigorously so that more people can join the ranks of those learning and practising it.

Senior brother, I, Ma Yun, wish to stand by your side. I vow to protect the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and to propagate this great Dharma with my life. Namo Amituofo."
