During the seminar held in Yilan, titled "Awaken the Life-Heart, Live a New Life," Namo Amituofo offered profound guidance on the nature of our existence. We often rely on worldly wisdom to navigate our lives, yet we must understand that such knowledge is limited. Worldly wisdom cannot truly know, reach, or realise the essence of the spirit. It is often fleeting and superficial, failing to touch the depths of our true nature.

Time itself is not merely a measurement of hours and days. To truly understand the nature of time, one must exhaust all Wisdom (Prajna) to achieve genuine clarity. This clarity is the only true form of understanding, allowing us to see beyond the illusions of the material world.

The Mirage of Worldly Wisdom

While you possess this physical body, you must treat it as a precious vessel. It is the perfect instrument to learn the Buddha’s teachings. By dedicating yourself to this practice, you can begin to realise your true nature, which has been obscured by long-held delusions. You can awaken the clarity of your life-heart, allowing your original nature to shine through, and transform your perspective from one of confusion to one of profound .

This process of purification is essential. When is clear and disciplined, the spirit can finally achieve the clarity required to perceive the Truth.

Awakening to the Truth of Existence

This physical life is but a single, brief moment in the vast cycle of rebirth. I hope that you all recognise the nature of suffering. Suffering is the end of life; it is the barrier that prevents us from knowing the truth. If you do not understand the root of your suffering, you remain trapped in the cycle of samsara.

You must walk the path of life with intention and purpose. By understanding the essence of your own life, you gain the power to resolve suffering. When you clearly understand the nature of your burdens, you can release them. Through this, you become the master of your own spirit, ensuring that you are no longer bound by the suffering of life. This is the path to leaving suffering behind and finding true, lasting happiness.
