The Rare Opportunity of the

I, Skanda, feel incredibly fortunate. It is because Practitioner Su has appeared in this world at this time, and because Namo Amituofo has descended upon the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, that I have been granted the rare opportunity to protect the Dharma, the temple, Practitioner Su, and the fourfold assembly of disciples. In this age of the Dharma’s decline, the True Teachings are difficult to encounter, yet I have encountered them. True faith is difficult to cultivate, yet I have deep faith. It is rare to meet Buddhas and Bodhisattvas manifesting in the world, yet I have met them. This is not an opportunity that just any Dharma protector can attain.

When Buddhas and Bodhisattvas manifest in the world, they often take the form of ancestral masters. Although they may change their names and appearances, they truly embody the heart, the vows, and the actions of a Buddha or . They frequently manifest inconceivable phenomena that are beyond the reach of ordinary people. Unless one is a person with open eyes or possesses tremendous , it is difficult to clearly foresee and fully comprehend that their every word, every action, and every movement is entirely for the sake of all beings, devoid of any selfish desire. This is the heart and conduct of a Buddha or Bodhisattva. One should not view these manifestations as strange or distance oneself from them; rather, one should approach them with deep reverence.

The Qualities of a True Practitioner

What I mean by a person with open eyes is a true practitioner. Such a person possesses sufficient skills in meditative concentration, remains undisturbed by external environments or any worldly affairs, and is capable of making clear, precise judgments. They do not allow even a trace of selfish desire or any deficiency in their moral conduct to interfere with their path. Those I refer to as having tremendous blessings are the Dharma protectors, lay followers, monks, and nuns who possess the good roots, blessings, and Causal Conditions necessary to support this work.

The Inconceivable Power of

The skills in Chao Du—the spiritual deliverance of beings—demonstrated by Practitioner Su are truly beyond the power of words to describe. The constant, ever-renewing changes we witness leave those of us who are Dharma protectors in awe. The scenes of deliverance that Practitioner Su describes during Dharma assemblies or classes represent only a small fraction of the actual work being performed. If one were a person with open eyes, truly witnessing and experiencing these events firsthand, one would be astonished that such deliverance exists in this world. The speed of this deliverance is so rapid that it occurs in an instant. If we pause or lose focus for even a moment, we can no longer keep up with the speed at which Practitioner Su operates.

In other words, the deliverance performed by the of Practitioner Su occurs within a single thought, in a single instant, without any limitations of time or space. Furthermore, because Practitioner Su has broken through the physical injuries sustained by this human body and has invited forth a vast number of beings, this has correspondingly enhanced the sensitivity of the physical body and the bandwidth of the true self’s vision. This allows the scope of deliverance to reach more beings, more extensively. In a very short period, this Dharma Body deliverance has reached across mainland China, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, Japan, and Australia. The scenes of this deliverance are truly magnificent.

The of a Manifested Being

Practitioner Su humbly says that these changes are due to the help and blessings of Namo Amituofo. In truth, it is because the heart of Practitioner Su to save the world is boundless and is constantly breaking through new limits. Only when there is such a vow can the Buddha provide such blessings. This ability, when applied to saving the world and delivering beings, is a tremendous blessing for all those connected by karmic affinity. It has already far surpassed the deliverance capabilities of any practitioner known to humanity. If I, Skanda, had not been protecting this journey all along, it would be very difficult to believe that such a transcendence of limits is occurring through a person who appears to be an ordinary practitioner.

The Significance of Spiritual Records

The Dharma affinity that has allowed Practitioner Su to manifest in this world at this time has enabled the temple’s monastics—who are capable of opening up space—to input these various processes into computers and record them through the method of spiritual interviews. Such an undertaking itself already transcends the scope of what ordinary people can believe or comprehend. Just as the communication between the temple’s monastics and myself at this moment is a dialogue between spirits, expressing my intentions, so too is this record. In the Buddha’s teachings, everyone knows the role of Skanda as a Dharma protector, but it is difficult for many to accept that this protector can express his intentions in this way. Those who see, hear, and are able to believe this reality are those who share a deep Dharma affinity with Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

There will be those who find it difficult to believe, but I urge you: do not slander this work. Those who slander it will inevitably face the retribution of the hells. In this world, especially regarding the Buddha’s teachings, there are far too many things that cannot be known within the limited cognition of humans, who are controlled by their own . Even I, Skanda, am astonished by the situation of Practitioner Su; how much more so should ordinary people be?

A Future of

At this time, Practitioner Su has opened the doors of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, hoping that those with karmic affinity will enter. Practitioner Su is willing to teach and to help people develop their inherent true self. The monastics currently at the temple are in the process of constantly having their true self developed by Practitioner Su. Everyone is learning with great sincerity and effort. I, Skanda, believe that with time, the hard work of Practitioner Su will surely blossom and bear fruit. The wish of Practitioner Su is to pass on these skills and abilities of deliverance to all regions, allowing the Pure Land teachings to flourish in the world. Only by helping more people realise their true nature can one truly have the ability to deliver sentient beings to rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and save those beings in space who have no one else to rescue them. It will happen. I, Skanda, believe that this day will surely come.

Namo Amituofo.
