The Manifestation of

Why does the heaven crack and the earth split? This phenomenon is not merely a physical event; it is the manifestation of the suffering caused by the laws of karma and cause and effect. All phenomena in this world are governed by the laws of karma and cause and effect; they are followed by the weight of our karma. Goodness and evil, fortune and disaster, all originate from the heart; they have nothing to do with external factors.

The Heart as the Source of All Things

At all times, practise self-reflection and introspection. If you have faults, correct them immediately. If you are without fault, remain at ease and continue your diligent practice. Chant Buddha's name continuously without interruption; never let it leave your heart for even a moment. Every thought should be a thought of the Buddha; in every thought, chant the Buddha's name. Every syllable of the Buddha-name arises from the heart, and nothing can obstruct it.

The Power of Constant Buddha-Recitation

In every thought, there is the Buddha; in every thought, chant the Buddha's name. All beings are Buddhas; everyone is a Buddha. When your heart and vows are in sync with the Buddha-heart and the Buddha's vows, engage in diligent practice with a grounded and steady approach. Advance step by step along the Buddha's path; rediscovering your true self is a natural outcome.

and the Path to Buddhahood

Even if the heaven cracks and the earth splits before your eyes, your chanting of the Buddha's name must not be interrupted. This is a sign that your meditative concentration has been achieved, and rebirth in the is within your reach. The fruit of an awakened being will naturally manifest. Namo Amituofo.
