The Essence of the Buddha-heart

What is the Buddha-heart? It is the profound, compassionate vow to save infinite beings, helping them leave suffering behind and find true happiness. When you study the Buddha's teachings, you must ask yourself: do you truly have faith in the Buddha?

If you are a student of the Buddha, if you have faith and have entered the path of practice, then you must accept the Buddha's teachings without reservation. Whatever is written in the sutras, you must believe, accept, and put into practice with your whole heart. You must walk forward step by step, guided by the Buddha-heart. Let the Buddha-vow be your guide. In every step you take, the Buddha is present; Namo Amituofo is within every single stride.

Aligning with the Universal Principle

Are you, the fourfold assembly, truly living in this way? Regardless of your current state, given how frequently you experience being drowsy or entering space, you must strengthen your faith in the Buddha. You must adjust your heart, your vows, and your actions so that they align with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. When you are in sync with the Buddha-heart, you will certainly receive the Buddha's .

At this moment, Namo Amituofo, Practitioner Su, and I have already taught you how to face these situations of being drowsy or entering space. How much of this do you remember? How much have you truly put into practice? Whenever these situations of being drowsy or entering space arise, do you find that you have forgotten the teachings of Namo Amituofo, Practitioner Su, and myself? This happens because your meditative concentration is insufficient, and you are easily led astray by external conditions.

The Necessity of Meditative Concentration

Therefore, beyond dealing with your individual situations, the cultivation of meditative concentration is a task that every member of the fourfold assembly must strengthen right now. If your meditative concentration is lacking, no matter how much you have studied, memorised, or understood in your daily life, when you encounter these situations, you will still be pulled by them, falling into being drowsy or drifting into space.

To be in sync with the Buddha-heart, you must put your vows into action; only then will your practice have true power. The Buddha views every being with equality. Look to your own diligent practice, for only through your own sincere efforts can you continue to advance along the Buddha's path.
