Life is Impermanent

The Eleventh Letter of President Zhao Puchu

Does the life of a human being always follow a predictable path? Or is it constantly interrupted by sudden, unexpected events that are impossible to grasp? This is what we refer to as the impermanence of life. For those who have not yet encountered the Buddha , you might feel that everything is normal. You may believe that this is simply how life is—that life is impermanence, and impermanence is life—and that any changes that occur are merely natural phenomena. However, today, I, Zhao Puchu, wish to share with you that there are certain things in life that can be anticipated and addressed before they manifest as suffering.

The Unpredictable Nature of Life

We often view our lives through the lens of our own limited , failing to see the deeper currents of cause and effect that shape our reality. When we face illness, misfortune, or mental distress, we often view these as random accidents. Yet, from the perspective of the Buddha Dharma, nothing is truly accidental. Everything that happens to us is a result of conditions maturing, rooted in the seeds we have sown in this life and in countless lifetimes past.

If you are currently experiencing hardship, do not despair. Instead, understand that you have the power to change your trajectory. By aligning yourself with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, you can begin to resolve the underlying causes of your suffering. This is not a matter of luck, but a matter of understanding the profound laws that govern our existence.

The Hidden World Within Your Cells

The Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, through the compassionate power of Namo Amituofo, has revealed the truth of the universe. Within your body, there are fifty trillion cells. These are not merely biological units as seen under a microscope; they are vessels that contain the history of your existence. Within these cells reside your —beings who have been with you for thousands and thousands of years, living and breathing alongside you.

Your cancer is not an accident. Your tumours are not an accident. Even your mental illnesses are not mere accidents. These conditions arise because of the unresolved grievances held by these karmic creditors. You may ask, is it possible to avoid such suffering? The answer is yes. It is entirely possible, provided you are willing to resolve the conflicts with your karmic creditors through and the power of the Buddha.

The Path of True Liberation

You will surely ask: how can I resolve these deep-seated grievances? First, you must develop faith in the Buddha. You must follow the teachings of the Buddha with sincerity and diligence. The Infinite Life Sutra (The Buddha Speaks the , Infinite Life, Adornment, Purity, Impartiality, and Sutra) is the essential guide for your practice. You must study it, understand it, and apply it to your daily life.

The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is here to assist you. We provide the guidance necessary to ensure that you are sailing on the right path in your practice, rather than engaging in blind or misguided efforts. We are dedicated to helping you find your way back to the right path, ensuring that your efforts are fruitful and that you do not waste your precious time.

A Call to

Furthermore, you must invite the spirits residing within your body to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is the only true and ultimate path to liberation. Without this, these beings remain trapped in the sea of suffering, and as long as they are suffering, you will be unable to attain a state of true purity and peace of mind. The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is fully equipped to help you in this noble task.

As long as you are willing to place your trust in this authentic bodhimanda, you will be able to rediscover your original, true nature. The work done here is genuine and profound; it cannot be measured by the worldly standards of those who do not understand the Dharma. I encourage you to visit us, to see for yourself, and to give yourself the opportunity to change. Take this step, and you will find that the path to a new life is open to you.

Recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Shi Fajing.
