This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Zhou Enlai, former Premier of the People's Republic of China, who now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his life and his journey to deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Faru, on April 20, 2026.

Zhou Enlai speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am deeply grateful to Namo Amituofo, and I am grateful to Practitioner Su for granting me, Zhou Enlai, this opportunity to be interviewed.

My life was, by all accounts, a legendary one. Yet, I never had the opportunity to encounter the magnificent of Namo Amituofo. Although I possessed a deep foundation in Buddhism, I had never truly grasped the vastness and profundity of the Buddha’s teachings.

A Life of Legend and Regret

Throughout my life, I committed many errors. From the years of the War of Resistance in my youth, through the domestic revolutionary wars, and finally to the period after the founding of the nation, I held high-ranking positions. Whether leading armed struggles or working alongside Chairman Mao, I made historical mistakes along the way that brought great loss to the Party and the people. In terms of construction and the economy, I truly served the people wholeheartedly. I considered myself the 'chief servant' of the people, hoping to put them first and provide them with what they needed most. However, merits are merits, and faults are faults. The wars I initiated, the deaths and injuries caused, and the struggles I participated in were significant. While I followed the Party's line, not all of those decisions were correct or beneficial to the development of the people and the nation. During the many internal struggles, I tried my best to rectify the Party's decisions, but in the end, I remained attached to my position. I compromised, accepted the Party's criticism, performed self-examinations, and ultimately executed many erroneous policies.

Every bit of harm caused to the people carries the weight of cause and effect, and I must repay it all. As I approached the end of my life, I suffered immensely from illness. At that time, my spirit was already suffering retribution in hell—the hell of pulling tongues, the forest of swords, the hell of sharp knives, and the hell of copper pillars. It is shameful to admit, but I was terminally ill and powerless. My and demon crowds had long since locked me into a space. For a long time after that, my spirit was cast out of my body, and I was unable to know the state of my physical form.

After I passed away, I entered the hells and endured punishment for a long time. It was only during the 'Celebrity Day' at Shiding that I was saved by Practitioner Su—the one Namo Amituofo often speaks of—who opened the hell space and rescued me. She then guided me to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and it was only then that I truly recognised the beauty of that realm.

The Beauty of the Western Pure Land

The beauty here is truly beyond imagination; it is exactly the kind of communist society that the Chinese people have always hoped for. In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, class distinctions have been eliminated, and everyone exists in perfect equality. There is no lack of food or clothing here. If you need something to eat or drink, a single thought is enough, and the food appears; when you no longer need it, it vanishes. Whether it is clothing, housing, vehicles, or homes, everything is provided without any obstacles. This is a world where every wish is fulfilled. In this magnificent world, I, Zhou Enlai, enjoy such a life every single day. In truth, when I was in the human world, I wanted to provide the people with such an abundant life, to make China prosperous and strong, and to let the people live and work in peace. It was not until I reached the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss that I realised this is the true standard of a 'Great Harmony' world. I hope that the Chinese people can join me and enjoy such a beautiful world.

I know that as Zhou Enlai, I bear the heavy responsibility of introducing the Buddha’s teachings and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss to all my compatriots, giving them the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss after their lives end. This is a duty I cannot shirk as the 'chief servant' of the people."

Namo Amituofo.

However, China is currently controlled by crowds of demons. On the surface, they wave the red flag, but in reality, they are pursuing personal gain. From the Western Pure Land, I must frankly point out that among the leadership cadres at all levels, it is extremely difficult to find those who are entirely free of selfishness. After all, due to the interference of these demon crowds, it is inevitable that there will be bias when executing the Party's guidelines and policies. Whether it is favoring oneself, benefiting a faction, or profiting a specific group, this is the current reality in China. In such an environment, internal contradictions among the people are intensified, because partiality inevitably generates internal friction, which is detrimental to China's development.

Therefore, only by first saving the immeasurable and boundless demon crowds in China can we enable the people to adopt a selfless mindset, leading China toward true prosperity and strength.

A Legacy of Service and Selflessness

During the early days of the founding of the People's Republic and throughout my tenure as Premier of the State Council, although I held a high position, I always regarded serving the people wholeheartedly as my highest objective. I delved into the grassroots to conduct investigations and research, and I worked everywhere to facilitate public-private partnerships with commercial leaders in various regions to assist in local development. At the same time, I urged local Party committees at all levels to overcome bureaucracy, enabling them to govern their regions with dedication, to vigorously develop farmland water conservancy and basic infrastructure, to gradually improve material and cultural life, and to fully unleash the spirit of the masses. We implemented a combination of central and local efforts, adapting to local conditions and starting from reality, developing according to the unique economic characteristics of each locality.

This philosophy is exactly what China needs: to help the Chinese people by starting from the interests of the people in everything. This aligns perfectly with the selfless spirit of the Buddha’s teachings. In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, all beings are equal and selfless. Everyone wholeheartedly thinks for the sake of all beings, considers others, and is completely devoid of self-interest. Therefore, if the Chinese people can learn this spirit from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, it will allow China to enter a new era.

The Illusion of Material Wealth

Since ancient times, China has held a certain admiration for Western culture, as the Chinese people identify Western nations with technologically advanced material civilization. However, such prosperity is merely an illusion. They rely solely on material power and armaments to influence the globe and promote their culture; this violates traditional Chinese moral foundations and runs exactly opposite to the Buddha-heart and Buddha-vow of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

The Chinese people want to learn from Western nations because they believe in their prosperity. In truth, the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is the most advanced and prosperous world of all. Here, class and class struggle have been thoroughly eradicated, as have the systems of human exploitation and oppression, realizing true equality for all spirits. There is no mutual attack and no struggle, yet we possess the most abundant resources, the deepest Wisdom, and the rarest Buddha’s teachings in the entire universe and Dharma Realm. We can completely escape the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death, and we possess the highest level of technology and the most superior medical techniques. This level is something that even if Western nations were to develop for thousands or even tens of thousands of years, they would still find it difficult to reach.

If everyone realizes the beauty of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, they should resolve to immigrate to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, or come here to study abroad, and then return to China to introduce the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, making China even more prosperous and strong. This is Zhou Enlai’s expectation for the Chinese people.

The Magnificent Dharma Affinity Between the Chinese People and Namo Amituofo

Although there are currently restrictions on Buddhism in China, objectively speaking, China’s historical connection to the Buddha’s teachings, and even its connection to Namo Amituofo of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, is quite deep and magnificent.

The reason Namo Amituofo is able to descend to the human world this time is because Practitioner Su has demonstrated a spirit of selfless dedication, moving Namo Amituofo to reside at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia to save the vast masses. Practitioner Su is also Chinese, and the language used is Chinese, which is sufficient to show that the connection between Namo Amituofo and Chinese Buddhism is very close.

Throughout the long river of five thousand years of history, the Chinese people have introduced the Buddha’s teachings since the Han Dynasty. Successive dynasties, such as the Tang, Song, and even the Qing, had emperors who greatly promoted the Buddha’s teachings. Practitioner Su herself has also been reborn in China many times throughout these five thousand years, in different identities—whether as an emperor, a prime minister, or an eminent monk—establishing a deep foundation among the masses of China.

It is precisely because of these deep historical ties that there is now the opportunity for Practitioner Su to perform for the five thousand and even ten thousand years of China’s historical space. This is sufficient to prove the deep connection between Practitioner Su and the Chinese people. Practitioner Su’s Chao Du of China this time also represents Namo Amituofo of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss personally coming to the worldly realm to save the vast masses of people.

The Importance of the Chinese Mission

I must also report to the Chinese people that Practitioner Su’s Chao Du of China can be said to be the most important stop, because China represents the propagation of the Buddha’s teachings. After the True Teachings spread to China, whether they can be promoted to the whole world depends on whether China accepts the Buddha’s teachings and learns Pure Land education. This is why Practitioner Su attaches such importance to China and actively performs Chao Du for the demon crowds and beings in various spaces in China.

Practitioner Su’s grand vow to save China was established more than a decade ago. Now, with the accumulation of merits and virtues, the maturation of Causal Conditions, and the sufficiency of merit-power, she has slowly broken through the demon crowds' blockade against the Buddha’s teachings in China. Now, having the opportunity to invite me, the former Premier of China, Zhou Enlai, to speak a few words to the Chinese people and exchange ideas, represents the comprehensive deepening of the Dharma affinity between Namo Amituofo and the Chinese people.

Therefore, the Chinese people should believe that they have a deep Dharma affinity with Namo Amituofo, and they should also believe that they are disciples of the Buddha who have already practised the Buddha’s teachings in past lives, laying a deep foundation of good roots and . Now that the Causal Conditions are about to be fulfilled, everyone must grasp this rare and difficult-to-encounter Dharma affinity, helping Namo Amituofo exert His profound influence so that everyone can receive the benefits of the Dharma and thoroughly liberate themselves from the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death.

This would not be in vain for the patriarchs and venerable masters as well as the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have continuously manifested in China since ancient times to guide the Chinese people. Now that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have manifested in the human world once again to bring benefits to all compatriots, this can be called the greatest joyous event and should be celebrated by all under heaven. Everyone should unite and enthusiastically invite Namo Amituofo to enter China.

The Leaders of China and Their Origins

Let me report to all compatriots again: why is the Dharma affinity between the Chinese people and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss so deep?

In fact, the emperors, generals, and ministers throughout China’s history, as well as the outstanding leaders within the Party today, the core leading comrades, and the successive Presidents of the State, are actually all from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. It is precisely because they came from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss that they could possess such great Blessings and prestige to shoulder the heavy responsibility of leading a nation. Everyone should feel proud; China’s leading comrades are all Bodhisattvas who have come from the West, all holding the objective of serving the people wholeheartedly to save the Chinese people.

However, after all, the people have heavy spiritual obstacles, and the Five Turbidities and Evil World is truly arduous and challenging. Therefore, when Buddhas and Bodhisattvas descend, they must also conform to the objective reality and development laws of the worldly realm. To be able to lead the Chinese people onto the correct path and help them return to the Western Land in such a harsh environment requires the united struggle of the vast masses; it is not something that a few leading comrades can turn the tide on by their own strength alone.

Great leaders known to all in the past, such as Chairman Mao Zedong, as well as myself, Zhou Enlai, and famous emperors and eminent monks of past dynasties, have actually already returned to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I see things very clearly. I have also humbly sought advice from them, engaging in deep ideological exchanges with them from heart to heart. The patriarchs, venerable masters, and the older generation of leading comrades have not been stingy in sharing with me what they have seen and heard in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, as well as the Dharma-meanings they have studied.

This is the magnificence of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. We must let the Chinese people have confidence in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss; after all, this is the cradle of China’s leaders. If everyone is willing to make a vow to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and then return to save China, I believe that you, too, will become the most compassionate leaders of China, helping the Chinese people and helping the whole world to learn Buddhist education together, and together return to the Pure Land of Namo Amituofo’s Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Ending Competition and Internal Friction

To learn the Buddha’s teachings of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, one must first solve the problem of the human heart from the root. Since ancient times, the most serious issue in China has been war, which is the primary factor in the destruction of a nation. China has long suffered from the invasion and bullying of powerful nations, and has itself been plagued by constant internal and external troubles. The division and unification of China’s territory all stem from war, and war stems from the human heart. The cause of war is the jealousy, competition, and internal friction generated by an unsettled heart. The Chinese people always want to climb to the top, having a sense of class hierarchy, believing that to surpass others and get ahead, one must work hard to defeat competitors and trample peers underfoot to climb up. However, this has long deviated from the socialist ideal. To truly make China prosperous and strong, this culture of competition must be thoroughly changed.

Pointless internal friction has intensified in modern times, with everyone believing that various forms of competition are necessary for new development; this is the most serious mistake. Struggle is not a thought developed in modern times; it has been endless throughout China’s five thousand years of history.

Every instance of competition—whether it was the resistance of commoners against the previous government during dynastic changes, or the mutual annexation during eras of division—has resulted only in countless casualties and rivers of blood. The people not only had to perform heavy labor but also spent countless years displaced by war, without a fixed place to live, harboring hatred for different ethnic groups in their hearts and resentment for the destruction of their homes and country. Emperors who launched countless wars have been suffering in various spaces of the hells after death, seeing clearly that internal friction and war bring only harm and no benefit to China.

When competition and internal friction are prevalent in China, I feel deeply pained in my heart. This is not the Buddha’s teachings, nor is it a method that can truly make China prosperous and strong. This is an evil method adopted by the demon crowds to plunge China into a chaotic situation.

Therefore, the Chinese people must understand that 'competition and internal friction' is the priority that must be removed.

Another critical point is that the Chinese people are far too preoccupied with personal gain and individualism. They are constantly calculating, weighing every situation for personal benefit before taking any action. From what I have observed here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, this excessive self-centeredness and way of thinking are entirely the tricks of the demon crowds.

You must never think that by calculating every move you can gain an advantage; in reality, you are the one who suffers the most. In the process of calculating, your own selfishness has already attracted countless demon crowds and spiritual attachments. You become controlled by these beings, completely unable to be the master of your own mind. This only leads to the creation of immeasurable and boundless negative , which does not truly bring you any benefit. Even if you obtain temporary advantages—be it power, status, or money—these are ultimately harmful and offer no real gain. All of this is merely creating the causes for hell, where you will eventually have to suffer the consequences. Calculating every move always ends up harming oneself.

The Inescapable Laws of Karma

You can see this clearly from my own experiences in the hells and from the reports of historical figures throughout China's five-thousand-year history; not a single person has been spared. The laws of karma and cause and effect do not overlook a single detail. Working for the public good brings good fruit, while harming others for personal gain results in evil consequences.

These laws of karma have been true since ancient times and are universal principles that must be followed. Even the Buddha is a practitioner of these universal principles; if even the Buddha cannot violate the laws of nature, how can you possibly hope to go against the heavens? I, Zhou Enlai, now bear a heavy responsibility: to counsel the Chinese people to study the Buddha’s teachings, because China’s position is of vital importance.

World Peace and the Role of China

In fact, looking at the world today, China is already one of the world's leading powers. Given China's continuous development, it is no exaggeration to say that it is on the verge of becoming the most powerful nation on Earth. Therefore, the Chinese people must realise that as a major world power, they must shoulder the heavy responsibility of leading the entire world. If China itself promotes competition and military force, how can peace, coexistence, and long-term stability be achieved for the nation and the world?

One only needs to observe Western countries to understand this. They built their nations on military force and influenced the world through capitalism, but the result has been a global economy driven by greed, which has not brought any substantial help to the world. China must never follow such a path.

A Mission for the Chinese People

The Chinese people should study the Buddha’s teachings and use them to help the world, allowing everyone to be tolerant, live in peace, and unite in mutual support. When the whole world follows China in learning the Buddha’s teachings, everyone will understand that this stems from China’s excellent traditional culture and the supreme, profound doctrines of the Buddha. This will not only help the nation remain stable, eliminate global disasters, and avoid natural calamities, but it will also allow people to move away from the suffering of aging, sickness, and death. After the end of their lives, they can be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Furthermore, after learning the Great Dharma of Namo Amituofo in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, they can, like Practitioner Su, return to the worldly realm to save infinite suffering beings, awaken the masses, and help those with karmic affinity assist their own family members across many lifetimes to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss together. This is the mission and responsibility I must shoulder as a Chinese person.

Having served as the Premier of the nation, I have an obligation to help all the Chinese people learn the Buddha’s teachings; and all the Chinese people have an obligation to help the whole world learn the Buddha’s teachings. The key to promoting the Buddha’s teachings to the world lies in China. The Chinese language and culture are profound and can highly restore the deep, hidden meanings of the Buddha’s teachings. Moreover, China’s cultural foundation is deep and can interpret the Buddha’s teachings well, making the profound philosophy accessible to the people.

Therefore, every Chinese person has a responsibility to take up the work of the Tathagata. Only by truly promoting the Buddha’s teachings globally and throughout the world can one save oneself and save others. The Chinese people will also benefit from this, becoming a great nation that helps the entire world and makes a magnificent contribution to world peace.

Spreading the Word about Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre

More than a decade ago, I was summoned by Practitioner Su from Shiding, Taiwan. She opened the space of the hell where I resided, brought me to the Shiding temple, and then led me into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. From that moment on, I knew that Practitioner Su’s abilities were truly extraordinary. At first, I did not fully understand, but after arriving in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I constantly monitored Practitioner Su’s movements and the developments in the human world.

To my surprise, Practitioner Su truly used her Buddha-heart and Buddha-vow to invite Namo Amituofo and the ancestral masters to reside at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. She began her work in Taiwan and later moved to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. This is a rare and precious spiritual connection that our fellow countrymen must firmly grasp.

The Presence of the Holy Ones

The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre does not only have Namo Amituofo residing there; Avalokiteshvara , Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, Shakyamuni Buddha, Maitreya Bodhisattva, and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva are all present. Many venerable ones and ancestral masters from the Western Land also personally attend the three held every week at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to help infinite suffering beings with karmic affinity enter the Dharma-Nature Land or be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Even for beings with shallower affinity and whose good roots, blessings, and causal conditions are not yet fully mature, they are helped to be reborn in the good realms of humans and heavens.

It is a great pity that such a rare and precious spiritual connection is known only to the fourfold assembly of disciples practicing together in Australia. Since then, Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, using their wisdom and adapting to the development of the times, have utilised the internet to begin promoting the Buddha’s teachings, allowing people around the world to slowly learn about the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

Overcoming Demonic Interference

Of course, the promotion of the Buddha’s teachings is always met with interference from demon crowds, and the journey has been extremely arduous. Whenever the internet attempts to spread more information about the temple, it is always met with all sorts of obstruction. When the Buddha’s teachings are to be transmitted to China and Taiwan, where Chinese is the primary language, it is very difficult for people to see the interview information. I myself was interviewed many years ago, but there was so much interference that it was difficult for the message to get out.

In Taiwan, leaders of major religions lack an objective and correct understanding of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, mistakenly believing that it is about performing supernatural feats rather than understanding the True Teachings. In reality, this is not the case; the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is truly a temple where Namo Amituofo resides. Practitioner Su has repeatedly invited leaders from all sides to come and verify this personally, but unfortunately, most remain in a state of doubt and are unwilling to seek the truth. Practitioner Su, accompanied by Namo Amituofo, has been performing Chao Du around the world and throughout the ten directions of the Dharma Realm; she is already famous in the spiritual realms. However, if there are no true practitioners in the human world who have attained the 'divine eye,' they cannot perceive the existence of the spiritual realms and naturally cannot understand this true situation.

In particular, Namo Amituofo is the supreme spirit in the Dharma Realm, and His state far exceeds that of most high-level spirits. With such a high state, one must have corresponding 'divine eye' abilities to observe Him. Ordinary people, with their heavy spiritual obstacles and ignorance, naturally cannot know of Namo Amituofo’s existence. However, one can tell from the way the demon crowds surround the temple and the backlash from various beings that if there were no real ability to perform Chao Du, how could one possibly shake the many beings of the Demon Realm? How could one cause such a huge reaction in the spiritual realms?

Practitioner Su has walked this path, not only performing Chao Du for the human world and the six realms of existence but also opening the spaces of various heavens. She has entered the spaces maintained throughout the ten directions of the Dharma Realm one by one. Furthermore, she has performed Chao Du for demon crowds in the Milky Way, the heavens beyond the heavens, the Earth, and demonic beings. She has also helped Australia and Taiwan bring rain to end droughts and subdued the pandemic demon on Earth, slowing the spread of the virus. These are all selfless contributions that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre has made to the Earth, yet very few people know about it.

The Difficulty of Spreading the Dharma

The temple is actively trying its best to promote this through the internet, yet the obstacles encountered are very severe. When most people open a page and see the name of the temple emitting a brilliant golden light, the demon crowds within them quickly take control and close the webpage or turn off the screen to avoid looking at it for even a few more seconds. Observing this from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I cannot help but sigh at how difficult it is to propagate the Buddha’s teachings in this age of the Dharma’s decline.

This is even more true when looking at the current situation in China. China was originally the cradle of the Buddha’s teachings, inheriting the Dharma transmitted by Shakyamuni Buddha and India. It was only through the efforts of ancestral masters and eminent monks like Dharma Master Faxian and Great Master Xuanzang that the Buddha’s teachings were able to be transmitted to China and flourish. Throughout the generations, ancestral masters of every sect have contributed their efforts, passing down a lineage of Dharma within their limited lifetimes.

Yet, the lineage continues to this day, but because the central government policy defines the Buddha’s teachings as a religion, it blocks the people’s opportunity to learn them. This is a great pity for the vast number of people. As national leaders, comrades should possess a broader mind, capable of embracing various thoughts and ideas, to ensure the propagation of the Buddha’s teachings.

Currently, because China is controlled by demon crowds and the government itself is trying to consolidate its power, it fears that diverse ideas will bring different awakenings to the people, believing that this will shake the central authority. Such narrow-minded concepts limit the development of the Buddha’s teachings. Practitioner Su has been struggling and fighting hard all along the way; although she has been repeatedly obstructed, she has never stopped her steps. Every difficulty has been overcome. Although there have been setbacks, Practitioner Su never takes them to heart, proceeding without thoughts of gain or loss, without comparison, and without expectations. She is truly the most faithful representative of Namo Amituofo walking in the human world.

Only with such a style—disregarding everything, disregarding results, fearing no interference, and fearing no slander—and wholeheartedly and fearlessly promoting the Buddha’s teachings, could she have continued to promote the Dharma without stopping from Shiding over a decade ago to moving to Australia. Even with such severe resistance and limited results, Practitioner Su always maintains the most positive attitude, striving to resolve demonic obstacles and pass on the information about the temple as much as possible.

Now, after several years of work in Australia, the temple continues to develop and grow, which proves that Practitioner Su has indeed overcome numerous difficulties and resistance in all aspects. If one looks at the infinite and boundless beings on the Dharma-Nature Land, as well as the infinite and boundless ancient demons and old demons, one can know that this is the result of the selfless dedication of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su in wholeheartedly saving beings. Do not underestimate these thousands upon thousands of vast beings; each group is objective, ironclad proof that Namo Amituofo truly exists in this world.

The information transmitted from the Dharma-Nature Land and received from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is all capable of withstanding rigorous scrutiny. If the vast masses of the public have the opportunity to hear the Buddha’s teachings, everyone should cherish it and believe that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is truly the bodhimanda where Namo Amituofo abides. Do not wait until you have missed this Dharma affinity and the Buddha has departed from this world to weep in regret and lament your loss.

The Call to Pilgrimage

Many people enjoy visiting famous mountains and exploring ancient temples, but those are merely historical relics of the past. The manifestations of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in those places have already become history; they are no longer there, so why cling to them? Since Namo Amituofo is currently residing on Earth, if you are able to receive this news, should you not overcome all obstacles and endure any hardship necessary to come to Australia to study and pay homage to Namo Amituofo?

For the many who study the Buddha’s teachings, Namo Amituofo is the supreme and magnificent Great Teacher of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. He is capable of liberating and saving beings, establishing the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and leading everyone to enter it to practice and enjoy endless without any afflictions. At this very moment, this incomparably precious Buddha is right here in Australia; everyone should be vying to come and pay their respects. If you encounter information about the Buddha’s teachings online and learn about the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia that I am introducing to you, please spread the word through the internet.

The Power of Collective Effort

The power of the masses is infinite. The victory of the revolution and the construction of the new China were achieved by the broad masses of the people uniting, struggling, and gathering sand into a tower to form a vast and boundless strength. This is the very spirit that needs to be promoted now. Even if not many people know this information yet, those Chinese people who are aware of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, who understand the preciousness of the Buddha’s teachings, and who know that Namo Amituofo is rare and difficult to encounter in millions of years, should take the lead. You must contribute your own strength and strive to promote the spread of the True Teachings.

Even if you encounter many difficulties, you must carry forward a fearless spirit of struggle to promote the Buddha’s teachings. Just like the pioneers and eminent monks of history who spared no effort and endured extreme hardships for the propagation of the Dharma, you do not need to travel across oceans or climb over mountains to obtain the sutras. You only need to actively share and promote them online, letting everyone know that the Buddha’s teachings are valuable, that the True Teachings are here, and encouraging them to come here to communicate, learn, and seek the Truth.

In doing so, you become the modern-day Great Master Xuanzang, the pioneers of this era, and you can help the True Teachings flow through the world. Such a contribution and such magnificent Buddha-heart and Buddha-vows are what I encourage all my compatriots to aspire to.

Breaking Through Policy and Religious Restrictions

China currently has very strict regulations on religion, but I believe this is only a temporary situation, and there is no need to be overly entangled in it. According to what I learned before the Buddha from Zhou Enlai, I understand that the operation of the Dharma-luck has its own laws of karma and cause and effect. This is also a test that the Chinese people must bear together, so there is no need to be overly worried or anxious.

If you ask how to truly break through the current policy restrictions and religious blockades, there are two methods. On one hand, it relies on the powerful Chao Du performed by Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su to save the demon crowds and beings in China, thereby reducing the resistance to this work. On the other hand, the Chinese people must truly aspire to propagate the Dharma lineage. Those who already know about the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia must resolve to propagate the Buddha’s teachings and actively promote the Dharma lineage, starting from the smallest details. The Collective Karma of China can only be overturned by the Chinese people themselves; this is a massive Collective Karma, the result of accumulation over many lifetimes. For the Buddha’s power to be effective, the Chinese people must truly aspire to study the Buddha’s teachings and deeply desire to save the people. As the saying goes, 'Save yourself to save others.' You must save your own country and shoulder this heavy responsibility for your own people.

For those who do not yet know of the existence of the temple, do not understand the fact that Namo Amituofo is in the world, or who still have doubts, let things take their natural course; that is the result of the natural operation of cause and effect and karma. However, if an individual can establish a firm vow and contribute their efforts—whether by circulating the 'Messages from Namo Amituofo’s Heart,' promoting the teachings of Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, spreading the lecture videos of Practitioner Su, or promoting Namo Amituofo’s billboards—these are all methods that the Chinese people can use to exert the power of the masses.

When propagating the Dharma, if you are sincere and follow the flow of Dharma affinity, doing your best to help your compatriots across the country, the Buddha’s power will naturally be able to assist you. By continuously breaking through and overturning personal karma in this way, and gradually uniting and influencing more people, you will eventually overturn the karma of all of China. This is the way China can truly break through policy restrictions and religious blockades.

Helping Leaders Embrace the Dharma

There is still an opportunity for China’s current leaders to come into contact with the Buddha’s teachings. However, they are the primary targets of control by the demon crowds, which then affects all the people of China from the top down, so more effort must be invested in them. We must make them understand the benefits of the Buddha’s teachings, let them truly recognize the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and understand that the Buddha’s teachings are a science for educating the human heart—an education, not superstition; a benevolent method for the benefit of the people, not an evil method for gathering wealth.

The Buddha’s teachings do not hinder the consolidation of political power; on the contrary, they are a beneficial aid that can make the people and the government work together more harmoniously. There are historical precedents for this. For example, the Tang Dynasty promoted the Buddha’s teachings, the early Song Dynasty revered them, and the Qing Dynasty flourished with them. These dynasties promoted the Buddha’s teachings, all of which were conducive to social stability. When people have a spiritual refuge in their hearts, they can live and work in peace, knowing how to be inclusive, help one another, and reflect upon themselves, thereby uniting from top to bottom. These are all ways to make society harmonious and stable, and to ensure the long-term peace and security of the country.

Therefore, leaders must have a correct understanding of the Buddha’s teachings. If leaders are worried that the Buddha’s teachings will affect the governance of the country, they can verify it personally. They should first understand the Buddha’s teachings and integrate the concepts of the Dharma and the core spirit of selfless benefit into their policies. When leaders practice it themselves and the people see the actual results and approve of them, they will naturally support the guidelines and policies implemented by the government.

In this way, whether from the top down or from the bottom up, the Buddha’s teachings can operate stably in the human world, and the people and the government can cooperate more closely. Thus, China’s leaders should naturally be happy to accept the Buddha’s teachings rather than resist them.

Methods for Propagating the Dharma in China

Regarding the current situation of the temple, Practitioner Su has been actively and vigorously performing Chao Du for the five thousand to ten thousand years of space in China. This is a very powerful and practical direction. This also relies on the supreme Wisdom of Namo Amituofo and the great vow-power of Practitioner Su to combine and produce such results.

Currently, the temple’s monastics have interviewed many famous historical figures who have been saved. This information can be prioritized for the Chinese people to know. The famous sages and martyrs in Chinese history have already entered the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and the Western Land of Dharma Nature. If you wish to converse with them, you can visit the temple at any time.

What the temple needs to do at this stage is to make these interview contents visible to the Chinese people. Whether through any platform—printed books, audiobooks, videos, images, or other forms—they should be widely circulated in various ways so that the Chinese people can see them. This will be an extremely precious Dharma affinity for them: Chinese people in different provinces have a certain degree of connection to the famous figures of their hometowns. In history textbooks and the modern college entrance examination system, these historical figures are basic knowledge that must be learned. China attaches great importance to the inheritance of history and culture and already has a deep understanding of these figures. Once the people see the nuances of these interview transcripts and understand , speech, and mind of these figures at that time, as well as the karmic judgment they encountered later, it will surely produce a strong shock and reflection.

As for how the Dharma affinity will be drawn, it is best to let it take its natural course. As long as these articles are circulated on the internet as much as possible, as the saying goes, 'Those with affinity will naturally obtain it.' There is no need to over-operate, nor is there a need to be anxious for success. Just let the data circulate naturally, and let the Chinese people have the opportunity to come into contact with it. Those with affinity will naturally develop faith and accept the Buddha’s teachings.

The initial results may be limited, but everyone should understand that this is the beginning of a slow breakthrough in a closed situation. The number of Chinese compatriots is huge, and there are many internet users. Once the data spreads and becomes popular on the internet, it will be unstoppable, quickly letting many people know the truth.

Therefore, the temple does not need to be overly concerned about the immediate process and results. As long as we do our best to circulate the information, we can give the Chinese people the opportunity to know that Namo Amituofo is residing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. In addition, the books published by the temple are also a great tool. If they can be earnestly circulated and promoted, they will surely produce infinite benefits.

The Importance of Buddhist Education

In fact, what the Chinese people lack most at present is Buddhist education. Without Buddhist education, many things are difficult to understand thoroughly.

Therefore, the top priority should be to vigorously promote the 'Messages from Namo Amituofo’s Heart,' the 'Teachings of Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju,' and 'Practitioner Su’s Dharma Talks.' This will allow the Chinese people to perceive their own problems and be able to correct and improve them in a timely manner, changing their selfish and self-interested mentality, and thereby truly solving the various contradictions in China’s macro-environment. Among these, the most prominent problems are the prevalence of the internet and children’s contact with the internet, which is also an area that Practitioner Su has always been most concerned about.

For beings in the human world to practice and realize their true nature, they must maintain the purity and goodness of their Body-Mind-Spirit. The internet is filled with immeasurable and boundless demon crowds and demon palaces. Early contact with this is something that even adults find difficult to extricate themselves from, let alone young children.

The most clear and pure time in life is in childhood. If one is exposed to the pollution of non-Buddhist teachings on the internet, it will hinder the clarity of one’s own spirit. Even if one comes into contact with the True Teachings later, one will resist them due to the interference of the demon crowds. This is a problem that must be prioritized and dealt with immediately.

Therefore, Buddhist education must be promoted as quickly as possible and implemented within early childhood education. We must encourage children to reduce their exposure to the internet, or ideally, to avoid it entirely, so they can focus on receiving the teachings of their parents and teachers regarding moral foundations and the purity and goodness of the human heart. This is the core of Buddhist education; it must be truly implemented to benefit the next generation.

For those who have the opportunity to hear the Buddhist education of and have already understood these principles, you should start with yourselves. The matter of strict Buddhist education must be taken seriously to prevent young children from falling under the control of the demon crowds. If one can supplement this by having Practitioner Su’s Dharma talks read to the children, allowing them to learn through Buddhist education, their lives will be vastly different. Practitioner Su has been actively advocating for early childhood Buddhist education and has plans to establish a children’s class at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. However, the Dharma affinity is not yet sufficient, so it has not yet been realised.

A Call to Action for the Next Generation

If people and fellow practitioners in various regions can take the initiative to develop this themselves, the outcome will be different. If you understand the importance of Buddhist education and are clear about the situation of control by the demon crowds, you should resolve to help the next generation learn the Buddha’s teachings, to remain pure and good, and to keep them away from these pollutions. That is the best education you can provide for your children.

Helping the Chinese People Believe in Karma and the Buddha

Even if Buddhist education cannot be widely promoted under current circumstances, the Chinese people can still start from basic moral foundations. The morality of the people is the foundation of a nation. The traditional virtues that have existed in China since ancient times have long flourished across the land of Huaxia. In recent times, however, some have mistakenly viewed these as outdated rituals, believing that learning traditional morality is being stuck in the past. In reality, these are the very foundations upon which people rely for survival.

If the people lack morality, society cannot be harmonious. Families will be filled with strife, and it will be difficult for the government and the people to empathise with one another. This is the root of all matters.

The Crucial Role of Cause and Effect

To have morality widely accepted by the people, the most critical element is education on the laws of karma and cause and effect. This education is an essential part of Buddhist teachings. If people can believe in the laws of karma and cause and effect, and believe that every thought and intention will form karma, which in turn will cause their karmic creditors to manifest—leading to their own aging, sickness, and death—only then will they be willing to believe in and accept Buddhist education.

Therefore, before we can vigorously promote the Buddha’s teachings on a large scale, we might as well implement education on the laws of karma and cause and effect in our daily lives and learn morality. Let the people follow moral principles and implement a civilised social system; in this way, there will be fewer obstacles in promoting the Buddha’s teachings. In fact, Amitabha Buddha is the follower of the universal principle, a principle that all things in heaven and earth must abide by; otherwise, one will suffer the retribution of the laws of karma and cause and effect. When suffering such retribution, if one does not know how to repent and does not know how to correct one’s own personality and behaviour, one is bound to endure much pain.

Reflections of a Former Premier

I, Zhou Enlai, was once someone who descended from the Western Land. Although I possessed great blessings—which were cultivated in past lives and are a natural occurrence within the laws of karma and cause and effect—I was able to serve as Premier, yet I forgot the importance of the Buddha’s teachings. In the human world, I worked hard using human methods and worldly laws to help the Chinese people develop and build, to cultivate the spirit of Chinese culture, and to make China prosperous and strong. However, without education on the laws of karma and cause and effect, and without an emphasis on morality, I measured national education and construction solely by realistic considerations and secular goals such as economic development. As a result, the people gradually forgot the laws of karma and cause and effect and morality, and the human heart became biased.

Even though China has achieved significant growth in economy and construction, this prosperity is merely superficial. It represents growth in economy and construction but lacks an elevation in psychological and spiritual dimensions. This superficial prosperity is like a flash in the pan; it is a phenomenon of flourishing and decline within the natural operation of the laws of karma and cause and effect, not a permanent spiritual elevation. Therefore, this temporary military and economic strength is not a truly objective standard of judgment.

There must be Buddhist education to make people believe in the laws of karma and cause and effect, to learn morality, and to internalise morality and the universal principle within their hearts, passing it down from generation to generation. Only then can the karma of China truly be changed. At that time, as a Premier who descended from the Western Land, I failed to achieve this. Today, being able to convey this to the Chinese people through these interview contents is precisely the important development goal that I, Zhou Enlai, as a former Premier, have a responsibility to propose to the people.

A Debt of Gratitude

I am very grateful that Amitabha Buddha and Practitioner Su have not forgotten Zhou Enlai.

More than a decade ago, while in the hells, I received the compassionate deliverance of Amitabha Buddha and Practitioner Su. At that time, I did not understand what I owed the Chinese people or what mistakes I had made, and why I had fallen into the hells after death. Looking back now, it is very clear: organisational struggles and inciting rebellions. Most importantly, as the Premier of China, I did not truly help the Chinese people liberate themselves from the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death.

The human world has no ultimate goal. As Premier, I should have pointed out a clear path for the people. Although I, Zhou Enlai, experienced countless major events throughout my life, studied abroad, and served in the Communist Party of China for many years, I still did not understand the true goal of life, which led to the vast Chinese people being trapped in suffering for a long time.

A New Vow in the Western Pure Land

Later, thanks to the guidance of Amitabha Buddha and Practitioner Su, I was reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. After listening to the sutras before the Buddha, I finally awakened: the true value of life is to leave the home life and follow the Buddha to learn the Buddha’s teachings. Therefore, I, Zhou Enlai, immediately made a vow in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss to follow the Buddha and leave the home life to learn the supreme Buddha’s teachings. This act is not merely for my own practice; my sincere wish is to emulate the sages of the past, to bring the Buddha’s teachings back to China, and to help the Chinese people break through delusion and attain , improving their current situation in the sea of suffering.

Today, China’s technological and economic development is extremely rapid, and it has firmly established itself in an important global position. This is indeed a manifestation of the blessings of the Chinese people. But no matter how great the blessings are, if one lacks Buddhist education like the emperors and generals of the past, having only blessings will only lead to the creation of greater karma.

From China’s development in recent years, some clues can already be seen: China has begun to use its own prestige, power, economy, and military strategic position to gradually influence the global landscape. Whether it is the economic and trade relationship with the United States or the development in Southeast Asia and other countries, it all shows that China is exerting a major influence on the world.

At this critical moment, the Chinese people should be even more vigilant and shoulder the corresponding world responsibilities. At this time, I, as the former Premier of China, have also received such a mission, which is why I am accepting this interview at such a time to convey such an important message to the vast number of people, so that everyone can understand the importance of learning the Buddha’s teachings.

The Mission of the Chinese People

I, Zhou Enlai, am now diligently practising in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and am always paying attention to the dynamics in China. I earnestly report to all comrades that the most important thing is whether each moment can truly believe in the Buddha and learn Buddhist education; whether one can improve one’s personality and habits from the heart; and whether one can let go of from the heart to help others, to help the Chinese people, and to help the people of the whole world. This is the true mission of the Chinese people.

I am very grateful to Amitabha Buddha and Practitioner Su for placing high hopes on me.

I have left the home life in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and what I have learned is to help immeasurable and boundless beings, to help the vast number of Chinese compatriots who have a Dharma affinity with me, so that everyone can learn the Buddhist education of Amitabha Buddha. I, Zhou Enlai, have made a great vow before the Buddha to return to the worldly realm to help the Chinese people. I wish to remain unstained while living in the Five Turbidities and Evil World, and to truly have the opportunity to help the Chinese people.

At this time, the most important thing I need to do is to strive for diligent practice. When I return to the worldly realm in the future, I will no longer be turned by karma or confused by external environments. I must firm my faith in the Buddha’s teachings and hold fast to the six-character Holy Name of "Namo Amituofo" to accomplish this great task. This is my duty as a Premier of China and my responsibility as a disciple of the Buddha.

A Heart of Dharma

Accepting an interview again after more than ten years, although the time and space are different, my Buddha-heart has not changed; it has not retreated but advanced, and it has increased rather than decreased. Seeing Practitioner Su’s diligent and courageous practice and rapid progress in the worldly realm, I, Zhou Enlai, am full of admiration and have also resolved to emulate and learn. Amitabha Buddha is always emitting light to me in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and from the Buddha-light, I have realised that one day I, too, must emit light to immeasurable and boundless beings, helping them to wake up and stay away from the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death.

The Dharma affinity I formed with everyone during my few decades in China is something I, Zhou Enlai, will never waste. Today, having the opportunity to speak my heart to the Chinese people again and share my insights from leaving the home life and practising in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I am filled with Dharma joy, and the vow in my heart is incomparably firm.

I am grateful to Amitabha Buddha and Practitioner Su for naming Zhou Enlai, allowing me to report all this to everyone. In fact, everything is contained within this Holy Name of "Namo Amituofo". I hope that the Chinese people and the people of the whole world will one day be able to have every household chanting Namo Amituofo, holding fast to the Holy Name, and together immigrating to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
