The Radiance of the

On the morning of May 9, 2017, Practitioner Su, with great , channelled energy through her hands to a group of prominent political and business leaders. As they held hands, a magnificent vision appeared before them: the immeasurable and boundless golden light of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. In this moment of clarity, Namo Amituofo provided these essential teachings to guide all beings toward the truth.

The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre stands as a beacon of light, where the infinite radiance of the Buddha shines forth. The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is not distant; it is present right here in this world for those who are ready to awaken. The vast ocean of suffering in this world is deep, and those who are caught in it often lack the strength to save themselves. The karmic debts they have accumulated throughout their lives continue to manifest, creating a cycle of endless struggle.

The Illusion of Worldly Fame

Consider the life of a performer, like the one known as Bing Bing. Her life, like a theatrical performance, is filled with the joys and sorrows of a thousand different roles. Yet, all these experiences—the meetings and the partings, the successes and the failures—are governed by the laws of and cause and effect. There is no permanent law in this world; life is often a tragic play performed on a brilliant stage.

Beneath the glamour, the heart is often filled with anxiety and loneliness. One walks this path alone, burdened by suspicion and doubt. These discriminations and distorted thoughts belong only to this world of suffering. In contrast, the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss offers that is truly infinite. When you view all beings as one, when you let go of and embrace a heart of pure goodness, you can leave behind the darkness of the : greed, anger, ignorance, arrogance, and doubt.

The Inner Poverty of the Elite

Political and business leaders often appear to possess great wealth, yet their hearts are frequently impoverished and filled with sorrow. They carry the weight of their status, while those who are poor in material goods are often more free and joyful. This is because the wealthy are often trapped by the and of this human world. When death comes, none of these worldly possessions can follow you. Only the seeds of your karma remain. The Infinite Life Sutra describes the seven layers of netting and the seven rows of jewelled trees in the Western Pure Land. Even the greatest wealth in the human world cannot compare to the magnificence of that realm.

The Compassionate Work of Deliverance

At the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, we follow the guidance of Namo Amituofo. Practitioner Su leads the way, using the power of the Buddha-name to perform , helping spirits leave suffering behind and find happiness. This work is done with pure intention, without regard for reward, driven only by a heart of great compassion. Our temple is dedicated to this mission, operating according to the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. We welcome all, regardless of whether they are rich or poor, noble or humble. We do not discriminate, and we will never abandon a single being who seeks the light.

A Call to

To the leaders of the world, you must realise that your power is a responsibility, not a possession. If you can awaken from the dream of worldly power, you will find that your heart can be clear and bright. Do not let your life be wasted on greed and attachment. Instead, use your influence to help others, to spread the message of compassion, and to seek the path of liberation. Every moment is an opportunity to turn from confusion to awakening, from wrong paths to the right path, and from impurity to purity.

By chanting Namo Amituofo, you can find peace for your body, mind, and spirit. Let the Buddha-name be your guide, and let the light of the Western Pure Land shine into your heart. When the time comes, if your faith is firm and your vows are sincere, you will surely be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Shi Faxi, the disciple of the Buddha, offers deep gratitude for these compassionate teachings from Namo Amituofo.
