The Call to

On the third of October, 2020, a significant event unfolded in the spiritual realm. My name is Julie, and I speak today as a representative of the Pure Ocean of Bodhisattvas. We have witnessed the profound dedication of Practitioner Su, whose heart is entirely focused on the well-being of all sentient beings. In the region of Goombungee, the land had been suffering, and it was through the unwavering vow of Practitioner Su that a great transformation began to take place. Under the influence of this compassionate vow, every creature—from the spirits of the grass, trees, and flowers to the birds, the ants, and even the wandering spirits—has been moved to chant the sacred name, Namo Amituofo.

The Resonance of the Buddha-name

Wherever Practitioner Su travels, the Buddha-name follows, and wherever the Buddha-name is heard, all beings respond by swaying in harmony with its rhythm. Today, the boundless Pure Ocean of Bodhisattvas has gathered to support this noble endeavour. Each of us is chanting the Buddha-name without interruption. We are driven by a singular, compassionate vow: to help all beings leave suffering behind. This collective chanting acts as a powerful force, purifying the energy field of this land again and again. We, the Pure Ocean of Bodhisattvas, have blanketed the sky, standing beside every living creature and filling every space in the air. We are united with Practitioner Su in this prayer for rain, seeking to alleviate the suffering of the earth.

the Buddha-nature

All beings are chanting with immense , eagerly awaiting the arrival of the sweet dew of rain. The clouds and the rain spirits themselves are joyfully preparing, waiting only for the formal command of the Jade Emperor to descend upon the earth. The compassion of Practitioner Su has touched the hearts of all spirits in heaven and on earth, awakening their inherent Buddha-nature. By embodying the Buddha-heart, the Buddha-vow, and the Buddha-actions, these beings have gained the capacity to harmonise the elements and mitigate disasters. When the mind is aligned with the Truth, the external environment naturally follows.

Transforming the Land

The Buddha naturally illuminates this land, yet the spirits residing here carry different karmic burdens. By manifesting goodness and performing virtuous deeds, we can naturally transform a parched, suffering land into a place of coolness and peace. We, the boundless Pure Ocean of Bodhisattvas, continue to follow Practitioner Su, unceasingly encouraging all beings to chant Namo Amituofo. This practice forms a natural, powerful union with the rain and dew, and we look forward to the day when the entire earth rejoices in this shared blessing. Namo Amituofo.
