This interview features Lay Practitioner Lin Zhengzhong, the father of Lay Practitioner Lin Yiting. Having sought deliverance through the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, he now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This testimony was recorded on March 20, 2026.
Lay Practitioner Lin Zhengzhong speaks:
". Greetings to everyone. My name is Lin Zhengzhong. Having now arrived in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I wish to provide a report to you all. It is only because the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre invited me for this interview that I realised I could share my insights and realisations. This is truly a rare and precious opportunity. Looking back on the path I have travelled, it has certainly not been easy. Although I never truly believed that I could achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, it is precisely because of the great vows made by Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su to save beings like us that this unique 'transfer station'—the —exists. It allows us to temporarily settle down, reside, and purify ourselves, providing us with the opportunity to finally be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss."
"Rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is not something that beings filled with the afflictions of this Five Turbidities and Evil World can easily achieve. We spent a significant amount of time purifying ourselves there, and I truly made a sincere vow to follow the Buddha, no longer wishing to walk the paths of my past. Only then did the Buddha open this path for me—the path to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss."
The Profound of the Spirit
"During the past few weeks, I truly understood many principles while listening to the sutras and hearing the in the Western Dharma-Nature Land. Only then did I experience a sudden, profound awakening. Therefore, my heart is filled with a gratitude toward Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su that I simply cannot find the words to express. Immersing myself in the nourishment of the Buddha’s teachings for these past few weeks has made my entire being so much clearer. The person I was before was certainly not my true self. The person you once knew is vastly different from who I am today, so there is no need to dwell on those memories. Having walked through a human life, there is nothing left behind; once the illusory body is gone, it is gone. However, the fact that my spirit now has such a rich opportunity for elevation—that is what is truly worth sharing with everyone."
Gratitude for Deliverance
"I am deeply grateful to my family, and especially to my daughter, for knowing to arrange for my immediately after my passing. If it were not for you, I truly do not know how long I would have had to suffer, and the end of that suffering would have been endless. Those who come up from the hells usually have to endure suffering for a very long time before they even have a chance to regain a human body. This is something I can see clearly at this very moment."
"In the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, there is nothing we cannot understand. If we wish to know or comprehend something, it is immediately clear. Furthermore, the events of my many lives are presented before me like a series of films. I can see them whenever I wish to know, and they do not appear when I do not. Of course, my heart is much calmer now. In just a few hours, my spirit has been purified significantly, which is quite different from when I was still in the Western Dharma-Nature Land. Without that 'transfer station,' there would have been no way for me to reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss."
The Path to the Western Land
"Look at the human world—how many people can truly achieve a state of mind at the time of death where there are no stray thoughts, only the six-character name of 'Namo Amituofo,' single-mindedly chanting to seek rebirth in the West? I believe this is an incredibly difficult task. Without the great vows of Practitioner Su, who could have such magnificent Causal Conditions?"
"My family can be said to have 'found a treasure.' I truly hope you will cherish this connection well. From here, I can only offer you my silent . Do not walk my path in the future; walk the path of the Buddha. That means you must start right now, rather than waiting until you are on the verge of death to remember the Buddha. Do not let the past weigh on your hearts; moving forward is the righteous path. I, Lin Zhengzhong, express my heartfelt gratitude to you all at this very moment."
