The Sacred Unity of Heart and Vow

To study the path is to align your heart and vows with Namo Amituofo. At Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, we are united with Namo Amituofo, with Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and with Practitioner Su. We share one heart and one vow: to engage in the noble work of saving the world and delivering all beings from their suffering.

To share the same heart as Namo Amituofo is to vow to save all countless suffering beings. To share the same vow as Namo Amituofo is to embody the Forty-eight Great Vows in every action we take. This unity of heart and vow means that at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, we are prepared to deliver any being, at any time, and in any place throughout the realm.

The Boundless Reach of Spiritual Deliverance

Practitioner Su uses his meditative concentration, wisdom, , and his awakened to perform spiritual deliverance. This work is not limited by the constraints of time or space. It is a continuous effort to reach out to all beings, especially the immeasurable and boundless number of small creatures and insects that often go unnoticed by the human eye.

For human beings, the Eighteenth Vow of Namo Amituofo—the vow that ten recitations will ensure rebirth—serves as the direct connection to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. While our physical bodies are limited and cannot travel to the far corners of the universe, the reach of the Dharma is not confined by our Six Roots or our physical form.

Transcending the Physical Realm

Our spiritual life is vast and spans far beyond the limits of this single lifetime. Because of this, the capacity to deliver beings is not restricted to the places our bodies can physically visit. Practitioner Su uses his spiritual Dharma Body to perform across the Earth, the heavenly realms, other dimensions, and even the galaxy.

  • He reaches out to demonic beings who have lost their way.
  • He extends his compassion to the vast reaches of the universe and the Dharma realm.
  • He delivers those who are illuminated by the .

These are all places and beings that have a deep Dharma affinity with the work being done. Practitioner Su is in complete alignment with Namo Amituofo in heart, vow, and action. Therefore, wherever Practitioner Su’s Dharma Body travels to perform spiritual deliverance, Namo Amituofo is also present there.

The Buddha-light shines in those places to lead all beings to leave suffering behind and find true happiness. This is the moment of their liberation, when they are guided by the Buddha light to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Namo Amituofo.
