The Architect of Digital Addiction
An Interview with the Spirit of Steve Jobs
Recorded on August 11, 2017

This is a record of the third interview with the spirit of Steve Jobs, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He reflects upon his life as a technological pioneer and the unintended, dark consequences of his inventions. This interview was recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa-xin, on August 11, 2017.
Steve Jobs speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Steve Jobs. Everyone knows me as a workaholic—a man driven by an insatiable hunger for perfection. Even when I faced the first crushing blow of being ousted from Apple, I did not let it stop me. I did not care. From a young age, I was never one for traditional schooling; it was not my forte. My true passion, the thing that made my heart race, was taking machines apart and putting them back together. I could lose myself in that for hours, completely oblivious to the world around me.
Apple computers were the product of my precise, obsessive calculations. The world seemed to agree with my vision, did they not? You only had to look at the frenzied, almost manic pre-order queues before my products were even released to realise how effective my marketing and design philosophy were. I always championed human-centric design—making technology feel like an extension of ."
The Revolution of the iPhone
"The invention of the iPhone was a monumental, cross-generational breakthrough. By merging the computer with the telephone, I effectively dismantled the old, stagnant mobile phone brands. I was always buried in research, constantly obsessing over how to make the device more advanced, more seamlessly integrated into the fabric of human life. Apple became the undisputed leader of the mobile internet and the architect of modern convenience. Look at the old giants like Sony or HTC—who among them did not scramble to follow in Apple’s footsteps, desperately trying to update and change their products just to keep up with me?"
The Dark Truth Behind the Screen
"Though I was constantly dragging my broken, cancer-ridden body through those years of work, suffering through the weakness that forced me to take leave from Apple time and again, I drove myself forward with pure willpower. But here is the truth—the cold, hard reality that I only see now from this side of existence: the Demon Realm used my intelligence and my talents to carry out a campaign of destruction and control over all of humanity. Even when I was sick, they never let me go. Every new, innovative invention only deepened their grip on the human race.
They wanted to make people unable to function without their phones. They wanted to make humanity addicted, obsessed, and lost. Think about it—people feel genuine panic if their phone is not within arm's reach. Their minds become scattered, their focus shattered. That was the real purpose behind the technology. Through these online games and digital traps, people are lured into an illusory, virtual world. One by one, their spirits are being led away, their eyes glazed over, no longer reflecting their own true selves. The age group they are controlling is getting younger and younger."
A Regretful Confession
"I never imagined things would spiral to this point. Writing this now, I, Steve Jobs, realise that I have made a grave mistake. I spent my life chasing achievements that made me feel superior to others, but only now do I understand why I ended up in the hells after my death. It seems clear to me now that without the intervention and the compassionate help of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, it would have been impossible for me to ever emerge from those depths.
I have spoken the truth of these matters. As for how to change the current state of the world, I can only hope that people will try their best to wake up. After all, I am dead now—I am merely a spirit. How many people will actually believe the words of a ghost? I do not know. But the truth remains, regardless of whether it is believed."
"Namo Amituofo."
