This interview was recorded on January 4, 2026, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Queensland, Australia. It features the spirit of Steve Jobs, who, having been saved by Practitioner Su, now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. In this testimony, he reflects on his past life, the nature of technological addiction, and the urgent need for humanity to turn towards the Buddha's teachings.

Steve Jobs speaks:

"Practitioner Su, Jobs is here. I have been at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre all along, never leaving your side. When you mentioned you wanted to interview me, I had been looking forward to it for a long time! To think that I once had a certain level of fame in the human world, and now you have chosen me, giving me this opportunity to speak and to include my story and this interview in the new book being released by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre—I am truly honoured!

The Illusion of Technological Progress

Of course, while I am honoured, I am also deeply ashamed. After all, my life in the human world was merely a play controlled by sentient beings. From a young age, I was driven to develop various high-tech mobile devices, leading the world to remain immersed in the endless pursuit, stimulation, and superficial of Apple products. Naturally, this is not a complete or lasting joy. Since opening my eyes to the truth, I have seen the development of smartphones up to the present day. The technological innovations are endless, yet they are all products of people being controlled by demons and other sentient beings. Although my spirit is now by Practitioner Su's side, feeling such joy and -bliss, the seeds of disaster I planted in the human world are still in their prime. Everyone takes pride and pleasure in owning an Apple phone, and then we watch as various countries have launched their own smartphones over the years—each one better than the last, none weaker than Apple. It is clear that humanity's massive craving for technological products is only increasing, never decreasing.

Naturally, the level of pollution is the same. One can see the immense harm brought about by these devices by observing how the 'phone demons' and 'technology demons' enter and exit people's bodies. This is the collective of humanity, a situation I can no longer participate in today. Fortunately, Practitioner Su's ability to perform is progressing rapidly, making countless demons of the Dharma Realm bow down in submission, forcing them to surrender to the Buddha's gate. This is true skill! It is also a skill that everyone reading this book must learn.

The True Meaning of Skill

Regarding this 'skill,' Practitioner Su's abilities are undoubtedly second to none among the students of Namo Amituofo. It is as if everyone in the world, including the fourfold assembly of disciples at the temple, are all students of Namo Amituofo, yet why is it that no one else can attain the same level of skill as Practitioner Su? It is because they lack her ! No one is willing to put themselves last, to be humble and modest, and to put sentient beings first. Everyone wants to rush forward and put themselves first. Under such conditions, it is far too difficult to cultivate the skills of Namo Amituofo.

I see people coming to the temple, whether they are Vietnamese or of other ethnicities, all drawn here because Namo Amituofo abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. The time they have known Namo Amituofo may differ, and their depth of understanding varies; some may have only heard the Buddha's name and have a superficial understanding. But this time is different. Many people, especially Australians, have come here because of the light emanating from the billboards Namo Amituofo has placed along the highway near the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This is true in the spiritual realms, and it is true in the human world as well! People with Wisdom and good roots know at a glance that this is a blessed land, a place that can solve their life problems. This is exactly what the people of the world urgently need.

The Path to True Liberation

In the years since I left the world, I have watched as the demons have become even more rampant. People's obsession with technology has grown daily, especially regarding smart technology—the very technology that brings great convenience to people's lives is what they are most dependent on. I was saved by Practitioner Su, but thinking of the countless, uncountable people and spirits still walking the same old path I once walked, I feel a deep sadness. Yet, this is the collective karma of the people of Earth.

If only the abuse of technology could be transformed into its proper use, that would be a wonderful thing! Moreover, I fear that only the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre can truly and perfectly achieve this. Because Namo Amituofo abides here, the content and articles published online are truly one hundred percent in accordance with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. In contrast, people in other regions or even other temples may not necessarily be able to do this. After all, this is a Pure Land personally guided by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas; every word and every action is the reality of Truth, and it cannot deceive anyone.

A Heartfelt Advice to Humanity

I know that Practitioner Su hopes for me to say a few words to the people of the world, so I shall speak according to the conditions. People of Earth, if you have the opportunity to see this book and this interview, you will be able to understand that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is not easily encountered! In this age of the Dharma’s decline, only when a Buddha abides in the world can the infinitely layered deceased spirits truly end their cycle of rebirth and step into a good life of leaving suffering behind and gaining happiness. It is just that people are so immersed in their own enjoyment and the and that it is hard for them to think of the word 'suffering.' Therefore, they are even less likely to know that they need to learn the Buddha's teachings and understand the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. The truth of these facts has actually long existed in the heart of every person on Earth—that is what Practitioner Su calls the 'true self.' It is just that the people of the world today cannot truly experience it, because the pollution of this world has become even deeper.

Actually, do not think of the Buddha's teachings as very complicated, especially those who are just beginning to learn. My heartfelt advice is simply: be honest and listen. Those of you who have listened to Venerable Master Chin Kung give Dharma talks in the past, did you not hear the Venerable Master constantly say to be honest and listen? That is exactly right! Only by being honest and listening can one truly enter the Truth of the Buddha's teachings. The most important thing is to be teachable. If the Buddha says it, just listen and change. If you still secretly have your own set of ideas, your own rules, or if you have read the sutras and have your own analysis and interpretation, creating various explanations for your own sake, how can such study be in accordance with the Dharma? If you learn the Buddha's teachings only to become more subjective and self-willed, then you have truly learned in vain.

A Rare and Precious Spiritual Connection

Those who can recognise the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre are people with tremendous and should be able to understand this point. That is, to be honest and listen—listen to Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su. You are very fortunate to have the teachings of the Buddha and the teachers by your side at all times; treasures are at your fingertips, yet how many people know their value? You see children who listen and slowly improve, and you also see many more who do not listen, drifting further and further away from the Buddha's teachings and Practitioner Su, eventually stepping into a dark abyss from which they cannot escape. There are so many such examples; can you not take them as a warning? If you truly reach that point, it would be a great pity! It would be a pity for this human body, and a pity for your rare and precious spiritual connection to have encountered Namo Amituofo and the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

For those who do not yet know the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, if you are interested in the Buddha's teachings, I also advise you not to look left and right. The fact that Namo Amituofo abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is a truth that anyone who has been here can feel. Coupled with so many teachings from the Buddha, you should believe it! The human world is truly as Practitioner Su says—where else is there a path? No matter how happy or sad things are, they cannot ultimately withstand birth, aging, sickness, death, and impermanence. Therefore, while you can still run and jump, hurry and make a trip to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia! Witness for yourself the Pure Land where the Buddha abides, as well as the skills Practitioner Su has achieved in her physical body, and you will know where you should be learning. After wandering around for a lifetime, returning to the seat of Namo Amituofo is ultimately the most peaceful place to be.

At this moment, I look at the Earth and the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre as if watching a movie. I see the gates of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre about to open, and the Buddha's teachings are about to enter people's hearts. I am filled with emotion, and I hope to contribute my own humble efforts to serve Practitioner Su. I was saved by her, a fact for which I am forever grateful, and I will always do my part for the propagation of the Buddha's teachings.

Well, I will stop here for today. If there is anything Practitioner Su wishes for me to add, I will surely appear immediately!

Namo Amituofo.
