The Clarity of the Heart

On the twenty-fifth of September, 2017, the disciple Shi Faxi respectfully invited Namo Amituofo to bestow teachings upon all beings. Namo Amituofo responded with profound wisdom, illuminating the path for those who seek to return to their true nature.

The Buddha teaches that our hearts should be as clear and luminous as a polished crystal. When we allow the light of the to shine through us, we become vessels for the truth. This light is not merely for our own benefit; it is meant to be shared, transmitted, and practised so that the wisdom of the Buddha can reach every corner of the universe.

The Path of Steady Practice

True practice is not a casual endeavour. It requires a steady, grounded approach. We must walk each step with sincerity and focus, never taking our spiritual growth lightly. The world is filled with complex and colourful distractions, but the practitioner must remain steadfast, ensuring that every action is rooted in the truth of the Dharma.

We often ask ourselves: when will we finally enter the higher grades of rebirth in the of Ultimate Bliss? The answer lies in our readiness. We are currently waiting for the right conditions to align, walking the path of the Dharma with a heart that seeks only the purity of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. In that sacred realm, there is not a single speck of dust or impurity to be found.

Cultivating the Inner Spirit

Within our hearts resides a spirit that longs for the purity of our original home. To protect this spirit, we must maintain a state of inner stillness, keeping our nature pure and simple, free from the heavy burdens of desire. We should emulate the of Maitreya , whose smile is ever-present, and embody the vast, compassionate vows of Namo Amituofo.

When our hearts are calm, cool, and peaceful, we are no longer troubled by the affairs of the world. We become free, unattached, and at ease. This is the true freedom of the spirit—to move through life without being hindered by or obstructed by external circumstances.

Transcending the Illusion of Separation

In truth, the dust of the world is merely a manifestation of our own . We often believe that we are separate from others, but in the ultimate reality, we are all one. When we see a distinction between 'you' and 'me,' we have already fallen into the trap of attachment. This is not the true way of living; it is merely a reflection of our own confusion.

While it is difficult to avoid the dust of the world, we must not let our hearts become grey and dull. When the time for arrives, we must purify our spirits once more. Do not fear the process of growing older; fear only the possibility of living a life without awakening. As another lifetime passes, we must ensure that our hearts remain clear and bright.

The Wisdom of Cherishing

We must cherish every moment, for each one is a precious opportunity to practise the Dharma. Treat every encounter as a chance to observe the conditions of life and follow the path of wisdom. By using the skillful means of the Dharma, we can align our hearts with the Buddha's intent. Let the name of Namo Amituofo resonate within you, for in the constant recitation of the Buddha's name, we find the true, living essence of Buddhahood. This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Shi Faxi.
