The Essence of the Boundless Mind

The boundless mind is, in its true essence, no-mind. This is not a state of emptiness or void, but rather a state where the small, grasping ego has dissolved. Because this heart has already merged into one with the heavens, the earth, and all things within the vastness of the realm, one attains the vision of oneness. In this state, the true self and the are naturally revealed.

How vast is the Dharma realm of emptiness? It is truly boundless. This infinite space contains all things without end. Within this boundless Dharma realm, the Dharma Body of the awakened being integrates infinite and wisdom. It is a state of perfect harmony where the Buddha-heart shines through all existence.

The Universal Reach of Compassion

The Buddha-heart is boundless, and its work to save beings and help them leave suffering behind never ceases. Even those who appear as demon crowds are, in truth, part of the infinite assembly of beings. Through the power of , they too can be saved and enter the Dharma-Nature Land. They can transform their demonic nature and enter the Buddha's path. Such an opportunity is rare and magnificent; those who find themselves in such a state should cherish it deeply. We must seek refuge directly within the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, where the light of the Buddha guides us home.

The Inherent Buddha-Nature

The true self and the Buddha-nature are, in fact, the Buddha-heart. Every person possesses this, and all beings are endowed with it from the very beginning. It is, like the Dharma realm itself, entirely boundless. You are already students of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, currently undergoing the process of purification. Your practice must continue to move forward, even amidst the trials and tests that may arise.

Maintaining Purity Amidst Trials

Though you may currently face disturbances or challenges, these are precisely the tests of your faith in yourself and in the Buddha. You must strive to keep your Six Roots pure and avoid adding further filth to your own nature. To maintain this purity, you must be mindful of your sensory experiences:

  • Eyes:
  • See only that which is pure and wholesome.Ears:
  • Listen only to sounds that are pure and harmonious.Nose:
  • Inhale the fragrance of purity.Tongue:
  • Taste only that which is pure.Body:
  • Feel only that which is pure and gentle.Mind: Know only the pure Dharma.

The Qualities of the Awakened

When one has realised their true nature, their mind-capacity becomes boundless. They possess a heart that can encompass all things, a compassion that is truly infinite, and a wisdom that is beyond measure. Their is equally immeasurable. This is the true appearance of those who have realised their true nature and attained the state of oneness. May you all walk this path with diligence and sincerity, keeping your hearts aligned with the infinite light of Namo Amituofo.
