The Quest for the Unchanging

Where can one truly find the eternal? It is not a destination to be reached in the external world, nor is it a place to be found through travel. The eternal resides deep within your own heart. If you seek a world that is constant and unchanging, you must stop looking outward at the fleeting phenomena of the material realm. Instead, you must turn your gaze inward to explore the vast, hidden landscape of your own heart.

Within this physical vessel, there are over fifty trillion cells, and each one of these cells houses its own unique spiritual life. Every single being, from the smallest invisible spirit to the most complex physical form, possesses a spiritual life that is uniquely their own. This is your true self, the original nature that defines your existence.

The Radiance of the True Self

This eternal true self is beyond the reach of birth and death. It is not bound by the limitations of the past, the present, or the future. It is a light that never flickers, never fades, and never disappears. It is always shining with a brilliant, pristine radiance. Why, then, do we feel so lost? This eternal light has been obscured and covered by the heavy veils of our own confusion. Because of this, we have endured the bitter suffering of darkness and ignorance, and we have been travelling through countless lifetimes of hardship and sorrow. We have been tossed about by the winds of , experiencing the cold and the heat of a world that does not truly understand its own nature.

The Path Back to the Western Land

Fortunately, Namo Amituofo has descended into this world. Namo Amituofo truly abides at Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, working alongside Practitioner Su to assist every one of you. Together, they are here to help you find your way back to this eternal true self that resides within everyone. Through their guidance, you can finally leave suffering behind, stop the cycle of endless tears and helplessness, and break free from the exhausting cycle of being reincarnated. You no longer need to wander, for you will no longer be unable to find the path that leads back to your true home.

The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is the eternal home for all of us. It is a place where our spiritual life remains forever young, forever vibrant, and forever free from the decay of death. As long as you are willing to chant Buddha's name and stop your wandering footsteps, the gates of the Western Land will always be open. The Buddha is waiting there, ready to welcome every child who chants the name of Namo Amituofo back home.

Recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
