You have been given a chance to break free from the cycle of samsara, and you must not let this moment pass in vain.
The Great Shines
When the conditions of your past gather, you are presented with the vessel of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This life is not merely a cycle of birth, ageing, sickness, and death as the mundane world experiences it. Instead, the Great Dharma shines its light upon this dusty world. It acts as a ray of hope amidst the darkness of the current age. This is how the turbulent fate of the Dharma-ending age can be transformed into a path of liberation.
Illuminating the Sea of Suffering
You must take this light within your heart and let it shine forth. Let it illuminate the vast sea of suffering and karmic obstacles in this world. By doing so, you help yourself and others to purify your lives and finally reach the shore of liberation. This is the true purpose of our existence: to leave suffering behind and find happiness.
A Call to Diligent Practice
All disciples of the Buddha must work diligently to radiate this inner light. You should assist the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in spreading these teachings to welcome more beings into the fold. By accumulating merit and virtue, you gather the necessary provisions for your journey. Together, let us flow towards the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss like a field of ten thousand fragrant flowers, united in our vow to return to our original nature.
