The wonder of having faith in the Buddha and chanting Namo Amituofo is truly beyond measure. If you can delve deeply into this practice, ensuring that your heart is in sync with the teachings and that you are truly responding to the Buddha’s call, you will begin to understand this wonder and receive its profound benefits.
However, if one chants the name of Namo Amituofo without true faith, one is merely counting the number of recitations. Such a practice, while not without merit, makes it difficult to receive the actual, transformative benefits of the path. You must move beyond the mere counting of recitations to reach a state of genuine connection.
The Source of True
The Buddha’s teachings are vast and boundless, like the ocean. When you align your heart with the Buddha-heart, you will find that you understand the profound truths of the universe intuitively. In these moments of clarity, wonderful insights will continuously arise from within your heart. This naturally gives birth to a state of profound Dharma joy, providing you with a sense of complete trust and absolute security in the Buddha. Those who have experienced this state of being will understand its truth.
The Infinite Magnificence of the Western Land
The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is a realm of inconceivable wonder. Everywhere you look, there are marvels and skilful means designed to help you grow. The Ultimate Vows of Namo Amituofo are equally beyond measure. His , Joy, and Selfless Giving are infinite, creating a world where all beings are equal.
