You must strive to ensure that no wandering thoughts manifest in your mind. When a thought arises, it acts as a call to the laws of and cause and effect. When you have the Buddha in your heart, the Buddha is truly there. Even when you feel you do not have the Buddha in your heart, the Buddha remains present, patiently waiting for you to turn your mind back and call upon Him. The Buddha-heart is equal and free from all discriminations. Even the demon crowds are considered children of the Buddha. They have fallen into darkness only because their personalities are strong and they have allowed hatred to take root. Although they were once reincarnated through the laws of karma and cause and effect, they can still be transformed. This is possible because Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su are here, offering Wisdom and compassion that are truly infinite. Now is the time for all beings to turn back and surrender to the light of the Buddha.
