The Infinite Layers of Space
The Seventh Letter of Venerable Fuhui
Venerable Fuhui, a monastic who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia, shares her profound insights into the nature of space and the karmic origins of illness. This testimony was recorded on July 27, 2017.
Venerable Fuhui speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. Today, I wish to explore the theme of 'space' with all of you. Before I arrived at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, my concept of space was much like that of the general public. I did not give it much thought, assuming it simply meant what the word suggests: a three-dimensional existence, a physical realm, or one's own personal domain. Looking back now, when I would enter deep meditation and my would leave my body, every place I visited was, in fact, a form of space. Even when I had to enter the physical bodies of beings to help heal their illnesses, I was navigating through what we call space. It is truly as Practitioner Su has described: infinitely layered and boundless. To stir a single thought is to generate an entire space—it is truly profound and awe-inspiring.
The Eternal Record of Every Thought
I have only now come to realise that every second, every minute, every hour, and every day of our past still exists within these spaces. This is why, when Practitioner Su performs , he employs skillful means and often speaks of returning to past lives. It is true that 'wherever one walks, a trace is left behind'; every single drop of our history is recorded. There is one more crucial point I must share with you all: even if you do not take any physical action, the mere presence of a subtle thought or a slight fluctuation in your mind is known throughout the entire Realm. There are no secrets whatsoever; every single movement of your mind is leaving a permanent file and record.
The Hidden Realms Within the Human Body
In the past, in order to heal others, I frequently needed to enter the spaces within people's bodies to communicate with the beings and Bodhisattvas residing there. Please do not be alarmed by this; the disciples at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre fully understand my meaning and my methods, as several of our Venerables possess the same ability. The beings and Bodhisattvas within a human body are layered upon one another, often holding onto rigid attachments and refusing to leave. Several disciples at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre assist by identifying which parts of are in pain and determining what kind of beings are seeking revenge. Practitioner Su always plays the role of the mediator; after communicating with them, he sends them to the Dharma-Nature Land to listen to the sutras or directly to the Western Pure Land.
The Source of Illness and the Path to Liberation
I, Fuhui, did not have the ability to send these beings to the Western Pure Land. Some , even after leaving the person they were haunting, would return to me because they were unwilling to give up their quest for revenge. This is why my body felt increasingly heavy. Namo Amituofo is so compassionate; through the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, he has unveiled the secrets of the spaces within the human body, allowing people to truly understand the source of their illnesses. For countless eons, these karmic creditors have been hiding within our very cells. Originally, they lived in peace with us, but our every thought and intention—our greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, and doubt—awakens these creditors and prompts them to seek retribution. Consequently, suffering the consequences and visiting hospitals becomes an accepted part of life in this dusty, mundane world.
People are often unwilling to believe the fact that their own bodies contain infinite layers of space. They dismiss it as nonsense or label it as 'supernatural powers,' but in doing so, they are the ones who suffer the greatest loss. If you come here to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, you can personally verify all of these facts. Do not hesitate any longer. This is a rare and precious opportunity. Beyond truly teaching the public how to practise, this place allows people to understand how to achieve a state of being that is free from aging, illness, and death. If you are willing to believe the words I have spoken, you are giving yourself the chance for a different life—and, more importantly, the chance to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss."
