This is a record of an interview with Lay Practitioner Wang Shuangqin, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. She now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon her journey from a wandering spirit to a liberated being. Recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on April 10, 2026.

Wang Shuangqin speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I never, in my wildest dreams, imagined that my life could undergo such a monumental transformation. Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su are the two Buddhas I have come to know, and they are the ones I now sincerely wish to follow and learn from. To have the opportunity to encounter the Buddha is truly the most profound and mysterious blessing. Looking back, although I had heard of the Buddha during my life, I never truly understood the real Buddha’s teachings—the kind of teachings that can genuinely guide people to transform their hearts and minds.

A Debt of Gratitude to My Grandson

Today, thanks to the guidance of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, my spirit was led out of that place of suffering, brought to the Western Land of Nature, and finally granted the opportunity to reach the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. My heart is filled with immense gratitude. I am also deeply grateful to my grandson, Zhou Jinxian. I never expected that you would be the one to walk this path of knowing the Buddha and practising the Dharma. It is truly something that fills us with such admiration! I, Wang Shuangqin, am incredibly fortunate. If not for this inconceivable, grand-scale deliverance by Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, I would still be wandering aimlessly in that dark space. Thank you, my wonderful grandson! You must continue to practise diligently yourself!

The Prison of the Wandering Spirit

The space I inhabited back then was a place that filled me with fear and helplessness. I cannot fully describe the sensation, but I existed there as a wandering spirit. It was truly a cage from which one wanted to escape but could not. There were other beings there, just like me, with very similar personalities. Although we were not familiar with one another, we gathered together and spent a very long time in that space. I could move about freely within that realm, but I could never leave; I was simply stuck.

Then, I felt a beam of Buddha-light shining upon me. I did not understand why, but at that moment, I knew with absolute certainty that it was Buddha-light, not just ordinary light. Relying on my intuition, I stepped directly into that light. I did not hesitate; I did not look back. As expected, I was brought to a world of even greater brilliance, known as the Western Land of Dharma Nature. The transformation at that moment left me completely astonished. My spirit was elevated significantly; my mind became incredibly clear, unlike the confused and muddled state I had lived in for so long. I finally understood the true Buddha’s teachings, the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. I realised that one truly must not create , and if one has created karma, one must acknowledge the error and repent, so that there is a possibility of being reborn into the human world or even higher into the heavenly realms.

The Clarity of the Western Pure Land

So many years have passed, and I do not know what changes have occurred in the human world. Yet, if one truly wishes to investigate these things now, one can see everything that has happened with perfect clarity. This is something that can be achieved here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Whatever a being wishes to see or hear, it appears with such clarity in an instant. It is truly inconceivable.

As for the supreme beauty and magnificence of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I will not say too much here. No matter how much I describe it, it is better for everyone to step onto this land and experience it for themselves. Haha, this is my sincere hope—that everyone can have the same I have to come here. I hope you do not mind me saying this. I sincerely bless you all. Since you have the opportunity to know the Buddha, whether it is one person or ten, you must all follow the Buddha closely. Because the Buddha coming to this world is a rare event, and it is not an easy thing to encounter.

We cherish our time here deeply. Every day, we work hard to perform prostrations, chant Buddha's name, and purify ourselves, which is the only reason we have this opportunity to elevate our spirits. We know well that such an opportunity is hard-won, so we truly dare not take it lightly!

Finally, with a heart full of gratitude and , I bow my head to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, thanking them for all these Causal Conditions!"
