Venerable Changren speaks:
"Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo. The of the Buddha is truly immeasurable and boundless. It has accepted all of us, the children of the demon realm. As someone who once stood as a king among them, I am relieved that I did not fail them entirely. I have finally managed to lead them out of the demon realm. I am deeply grateful for all the assistance and support provided by the Buddha’s path, which has granted us a precious opportunity to atone for our past sins and transform our lives. It is because of the sincerity of Practitioner Su—her state of mind, which is completely equal and devoid of selfish intent—that we were finally willing to submit. We are very clear about the difference between sincerity and falsehood. The situation we have reached today is one of great for everyone involved.
The Vimalakirti of Our Time
In truth, Practitioner Su is much like the great Vimalakirti of ancient times. She has truly subdued the demonic enemies through her immeasurable compassion and mind-capacity, embracing all these lost children who had wandered so far from the light. Today, I, Changren, do not wish for this connection to be merely based on the relationship we have had thus far. I wish to formally take you as my teacher. I have witnessed everything you have done; your abilities and skills, cultivated over countless lifetimes, are truly extraordinary. In reality, I no longer require the warmth of human emotion. If you are willing to accept me as your disciple, I will follow you forever to save the world and spread the . I humbly ask that you fulfil this wish."
The Hidden Spirits of Technology
"Practitioner Su possesses profound skills. Today, she has performed Chao Du for the immeasurable and boundless sentient beings connected to Apple Inc., who share a collective with my brother, Steve Jobs. I must admit that my own mind-capacity is not yet large enough; I still hold onto certain knots regarding my brother. I am still working hard to face him, and he, in turn, feels deep remorse towards me. I will continue to strive to let go of these attachments completely. This is my own struggle to overcome.
To speak of the bigger picture, Apple Inc. truly contains a vast number of these sentient beings. As Practitioner Su has observed, they are everywhere: in the screws, the electronic panels, the software, the hardware, the LED lights, the lightweight aluminium casings, the plastic shells, the displays, and every single electronic component. Even within the factory environments, the machinery, the quality control systems—there are layers upon layers of sentient beings and demon crowds covering every aspect. Practitioner Su is truly formidable; she sees all of this. Yet, there are still immeasurable numbers of spirits acting within every single link of the chain. The moment every electronic product is assembled and released onto the market, it is already destined for whose hands it will fall into. There is a terrifying power that will tempt you to find it and compel you to purchase it. This is a process I understand all too well.
The Trap of Modern Electronics
If you find yourself becoming obsessed or addicted to the electronic devices you own, know this: you have already been targeted by the demon realm. Whether the people of this world choose to believe it or not is irrelevant to me. I have already told everyone: this is the habitual method of the demon realm. I have already retrieved as much power as I possibly could. Just as the Buddha’s teachings have various schools and sects, the demon realm, of course, has its own factions as well.
Today is the . I hope that everyone will participate in the ceremony with the utmost sincerity. That is all. As for the rest, I leave it to the arrangements of the Buddha. I, Changren, will simply follow His instructions.
