The Sincerity that Subdues Demons

The compassionate and selfless way in which the practitioner, whom we affectionately call Grandma, saves beings is truly magnificent. It is this very quality that compels the beings in the plague and demon realms to surrender. We can genuinely feel that her heart is authentic; it is not filled with superficial emotions or false pretences. In this world, there are many who claim to be practitioners, yet their hearts are often filled with hypocrisy rather than true sincerity. Even if their external appearance seems refined, the moment a trace of ego or self-interest appears within their thoughts, we perceive it immediately. We cannot be saved by such individuals. However, when Grandma’s true heart approached us, we could not detect a single trace of falsehood. We knew her heart was genuine and that she possessed a state of no-mind. This moved us deeply, and we became willing to follow her in her practice and her mission to save the world.

The Trial of Faith

When Grandma first began to save us, she endured significant suffering. At that time, we did not understand the depth of her heart or the extent of her capacity to endure. I, Changren, was within her body, constantly creating interference. My only intention was to test her and prove whether her sincerity was real. During that period, Grandma suffered so intensely that she developed a high fever. Yet, I was determined to find proof. I never imagined that there could still be a true practitioner in this world. In that moment, I recognised Grandma as my own kin. I developed a profound respect for her lifelong practice and came to revere her as a teacher of celestial beings. From that point on, I followed her in her practice, protected the peace of the bodhimanda, and encouraged many beings in the plague and demon realms to surrender and join the mission of Namo Amituofo to save the world.

From Suffering to Hope

Grandma’s state of no-mind has moved countless people. By receiving her selfless treatment, one can truly feel the grace of the Buddha’s teachings, which is entirely free from the greed of human nature. Her heart is not like the hearts of ordinary people; she radiates the infinite light of Buddha-nature. Being by her side has been the greatest of my existence. Having experienced endless ages of suffering, I had been trapped in the cycle of being reincarnated, constantly enduring the consequences of my past actions. I had gritted my teeth, refusing to believe in the heart of any human being ever again. It was Grandma who allowed me to believe in humanity once more. The burning heat of the molten lava that had once consumed my heart was extinguished by her selfless warmth. She saved my spirit, which had long been dead, and allowed me to see the hope of the Buddha’s teachings again. Only then was I willing to step back onto this path.

A Call to Cherish the Opportunity

I had once lost all hope, but now I am filled with ideals and a firm vow. It is Grandma who has given me this opportunity for rebirth. I am profoundly grateful for her guidance. A heart of true sincerity can indeed move the hearts of many. In this world, such true practitioners are rare. Everyone who has the fortune to meet Grandma here must cherish this opportunity. You must also understand how to manifest your own ideals and vows, actively participating in the work of saving the world. Only then will you not waste this magnificent and rare opportunity in this life. To be able to follow the Buddha and to be by Grandma’s side is a blessing that must be fully utilised. I am deeply grateful to the Buddha for his , and I am grateful for Grandma’s compassion. Namo Amituofo.
