My dear children, are you prepared to welcome new companions into our fold? This is the new source of life at Hsiang Kuang. You have arrived from all corners of the world, each carrying your own unique life experiences, habits, and burdens. Yet, you are all here for the same profound purpose.

The Sacred Call to the

You are searching for the secret to not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die. You have come to meet Namo Amituofo at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, to fulfil your heartfelt vow of rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, to seek the Truth, and to rediscover your true self. By aligning your heart with the Buddha-heart, you join us in the noble work of saving all beings from suffering. For these many reasons, those who have been able to step into the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia are truly the fortunate ones.

The Eternal Bond of Affinity

You must open your mind-capacity and embrace one another. In your past lives, you have all shared deep karmic connections and have sought the Dharma together under the seat of Namo Amituofo. Now that you have gathered here once again, this is a manifestation of your shared Dharma affinity. As members of the fourfold assembly—the children of Namo Amituofo—having received the teachings from Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su, you must now serve as exemplary models for others.

Cultivating the Dignity of the Spirit

In your daily interactions and practice, please remember to embody the following virtues:

  • Politeness and Kindness: Treat others with a warm smile, , and kindness.
  • Self-Discipline: Respect yourself and manage your own affairs; please strictly observe the temple rules and daily schedule.
  • Diligence in Practice: Participate in Dharma assemblies, morning services, and communal meals; listen to sutras and hear the Dharma.
  • Respect for the Environment: Please follow the schedule precisely and do not leave your seat without permission.
  • Dignity and Silence: Maintain the dignity of your body and mind. Avoid loud laughter or idle chatter, as this diminishes your presence.
  • : Within the Buddha hall and the dining hall, please remain silent. If others speak, do not engage; do not let the words of others disturb your own inner purity.

Lead those who follow after you, increase their confidence, and ensure that we all continue to advance steadily on the Buddha's path. Namo Amituofo.
