The Pervasive Reach of the Universal Law

The operation of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way permeates the entire vastness of the Dharma Realm. It reaches into every corner of existence, no matter how small or hidden it may be. This influence is absolute and all-encompassing, extending to the microscopic level—governing the smallest living creatures and the most minute particles that the physical eyes cannot see. It encompasses the vastness of the universe, including the mountains, rivers, and the great earth itself, as well as all life forms, from the smallest blade of grass and the tallest tree to the myriad insects and animals that share our world.

Throughout history, regardless of the era or the specific space in which one resides, these laws remain constant. They apply to every individual, regardless of their status, identity, or position in life. All beings within the six realms of existence and the ten directions are contained within this grand, orderly operation.

The Clarity of Purity and the Darkness of Impurity

How does one align with these fundamental laws? It depends entirely on the state of one's heart and spirit. The more one engages in purification, the more one cultivates goodness, and the higher one's level of clarity and brightness becomes. Such beings naturally align themselves with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Conversely, when a being is clouded by impurity, greed, or malice, their level of darkness increases. The more they are stained by these negative influences, the further they drift from the natural order, becoming disconnected from the very Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way that sustains all life.

Therefore, to cultivate those who can see their true nature, one must possess great wisdom. One must be able to observe the conditions of others and teach them with patience and effectiveness over the long term. By doing so, their impurities are gradually removed, allowing their inherent goodness and purity to manifest, ultimately leading them to see their true nature.

The Living Spirit Within All Things

It is essential to understand that every entity in this universe possesses a spirit. Whether it is as small as a single grain of sand, a speck of dust, a molecule, or a subatomic particle, each is a living, organic entity. Because they are part of this living universe, they are all subject to the same laws. They must follow the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way to function in harmony with nature. This is the commonality shared by all spirits and all creatures.

The Internal Struggle Between Buddha and Demon

Our current world is a place where good and evil are deeply intertwined. We see the manifestation of the Buddha, who perfectly embodies the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Yet, we also witness the manifestation of the demon, who represents the total defiance of these sacred laws. In truth, these forces of Buddha and demon have existed since time immemorial. They reside within the spirit of every being who has not yet reached the state of an awakened being. They are in a constant state of tension, pulling and pushing against one another within the heart of the unawakened.

The Path to True Awakening

Many people live their lives caught in the middle of this struggle. Those who eventually fall into the Demon Realm are often those with extreme personalities—those who are rigid, stubborn, and unwilling to let go of their ego. To enter the path of the Buddha and engage in true practice, one must undergo a profound transformation. One must polish the heart until all traces of a rigid personality are worn away. One must learn to follow and accommodate all beings with a heart of compassion, practising the state of no-self and selflessness. Only then can one truly see their true nature and reach the state of Awakening.

Everything in this existence operates according to the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. These laws unfold naturally, guiding all things back to their original, pure state. We must strive to align our every thought, word, and action with this path, ensuring that we do not deviate from the light of the Truth.
