My dear children, what is it that flows continuously through your minds? Are you constantly preoccupied with delusion, discrimination, and attachment? Perhaps you are caught in the endless cycle of judging right from wrong, or dwelling on the past, the present, and the future. You may find yourselves fixated on events from yesterday or today—moments that left a deep impression, whether they were experiences of being hurt, moments of , or deep emotional stirrings. All of these thoughts operate within the laws of and cause and effect, binding us to the cycle of rebirth.

The Ripple Effect of Our Thoughts

Depending on the specific and the causes and effects between the practitioner and these creditors, this can manifest in various ways:

  • Mental instability or confusion
  • Emotional volatility
  • Disturbances to one's spirit or soul
