During the assembly for disaster mitigation and , Namo Amituofo offered these profound teachings on the path of cultivation. To cultivate perfection is to complete the luminous path of practice, ensuring that every step taken is one of clarity and wisdom.

Walking the Path of Ultimate Truth

In cultivating perfection, I hope that all my children will walk the path of the Ultimate Truth. It is through the deep to this Ultimate Truth that one’s practice reaches true completion. This is not merely an intellectual understanding, but a profound realisation that transforms the very essence of your being. When you align your life with this truth, your practice naturally becomes whole and complete.

The State of True Freedom

How does one achieve this state of perfection? It begins with the true nature of freedom and the clarity of your own practice. You must learn to transcend the duality of subject and object. Even when you possess the truth, you must not cling to it, for attachment itself is a barrier to the infinite. By diligently purifying the heart and letting go of all mental grasping, you attain the perfection of practice. This is the state where the mind is as clear as a mirror, reflecting the world without being stained by it.

The Precious Opportunity of Human Life

Cultivating perfection is indeed possible for everyone. Being born as a human is a rare and precious opportunity that you must not squander. You must use this physical body to receive the benefits of the Dharma. Whether you are already perfect, currently becoming perfect, or have yet to begin your journey, you must understand what perfection truly is. This is the opportunity of a lifetime; you must look within your heart to reclaim your original nature and return to the path of the Right Way.
