The Foundation of Meditative Concentration

Those who attain the do so through a harmonious combination of their own diligent efforts in chanting Buddha's name and the profound power of the Buddha's . Our hearts are often scattered, restless, and difficult to focus. However, through the consistent practice of chanting Namo Amituofo, the heart finds a deep, abiding meditative concentration. It becomes firmly anchored in the Buddha-name, no longer drifting in the currents of distraction.

The Flow of Continuous Chanting

Maintaining continuous chanting without interruption is of the utmost importance in your daily practice. When you reach the state of chanting without chanting, and chanting while in a state of no-thought, the sound of the Buddha-name resonates perpetually within your deep meditative state. This is the essence of true focus. By keeping the heart pure and untainted, you can move through all aspects of the without developing any form of attachment. You do not cling to the existence of things, nor do you cling to their non-existence. Instead, you follow conditions with a heart that is completely at ease. This is the path that leads one directly toward the fruit of Buddhahood.

Unwavering

A practitioner who has attained the Buddha-Recitation Samadhi is no longer swayed or disturbed by external interference. They understand clearly that the external world is merely an illusion. Whether they encounter praise or slander, respect or belittlement, or affirmation or misunderstanding, they remain completely unmoved. Their heart experiences no turbulence. Within this state of deep peace and wisdom, they can manage all worldly affairs without allowing them to disturb their inner calm. They see through the illusions of the world with absolute clarity and are never deceived by them. This is the state of true liberation for the practitioner, where wisdom naturally manifests and shines forth.
