This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Lee Kuan Yew, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Nature, reflecting upon the spiritual truths he has come to realise. Recorded by the disciple Haipin on July 11, 2018.

Lee Kuan Yew speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Lee Kuan Yew. When I was in the human world, I viewed the world through the lens of governance, economics, and pragmatism. But now, from this vantage point, I see the reality of the universe with absolute clarity. The world looks at the violent storms raging across the horizon and assumes they are merely seasonal shifts or phenomena explained by scientific theory. But if you are a true practitioner, you know the truth: these are manifestations of the spirits that dwell within our universe. The Demon Realm is often temperamental, filled with unruly children who possess strong, stubborn wills. They believe that by stirring up wind and waves, they can finally command the attention of the mundane world."

The of Practitioner Su

"Practitioner Su, a manifestation of Namo Amituofo’s compassion, offers these wayward children a chance to turn back. He provides them with the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. As long as these spirits are willing to let go of their prejudices and abandon their desire to cause destruction in the universe, the golden light of the West continues to shine upon them. This light reduces the harm inflicted upon all sentient beings caught beneath the torrential rain to the absolute minimum.

The wind god listened to the counsel. He accepted the deliverance to the Western Land of Dharma Nature to listen to the Dharma. The rain slowed. The rain god and the countless spirits contained within every single raindrop stopped their weeping. They had been waiting for this moment for thousands of years. Having finally encountered a true practitioner like Practitioner Su, who has reappeared in this world to save them, how could they possibly abandon such a virtuous Causal Condition?"

A Choice for the Future

"No matter how tragic their pasts were—whether they became a part of the howling wind or a single droplet in the rain—those days are gone. The only path that matters now is the one that leads to liberation. Skanda , in his great compassion, leads the masses toward the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Because their understanding of the true meaning of the Buddha’s teachings is not yet fully transparent or complete, they must remain in the Land of Dharma Nature to listen to Practitioner Su expound the sutras. Only after they have grasped the vastness of the Buddha’s teachings will they seek rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Practitioner Su is like a cell of Namo Amituofo. He possesses the ability to resolve the disasters of wind and rain, to heal the illnesses and suffering of sentient beings, and to work tirelessly to restore the goodness of the human heart. He is recreating the peaceful, harmonious realm of the Western Pure Land right here on Earth. For those of you who do not yet know that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is a true treasure, let me, Lee Kuan Yew, tell you: it is truly difficult to find a person of such cultivation and virtue in today’s society. If you do not seize this opportunity to be saved by Practitioner Su while he is still in this world, you will let it slip through your fingers, and the consequences will be unimaginable for ten thousand kalpas."

A Final Word of Advice

"Although I was not a Buddhist during my time in the human world, I have now learned to chant 'Namo Amituofo.' It is the true talisman for saving one's life! I, Lee Kuan Yew, on behalf of Practitioner Su, invite those of you with the necessary to visit the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. I assure you, it will be a journey that is well worth your time. Namo Amituofo."
