A smile is a soothing balm that eases the friction in human relationships. When you offer a smile that comes from the depths of your heart, you are expressing the sincerity of your spirit. Like the gentle warmth of the spring sun, it has the power to melt the frozen snow of winter. Like a warm current, it can thaw a heart that has been locked in ice for far too long.
A smile is a potent, effective medicine for the spirit. It possesses the unique ability to dissolve the heavy clouds of depression and the restless agitation that often plagues the mind. It is the most eloquent of silent languages, radiating an aura of goodness and peace that touches everyone around you.
For the practitioner, a smile is a vital tool of the . When you join your palms in reverence and lift the corners of your mouth in a gentle, sincere smile, then offer the sacred name, "Namo Amituofo," you create a bridge of light.
