The Rare Opportunity of Human Life
The human world is precious because we possess a physical body. This body is truly priceless. You must protect this body well, for it is the vessel through which you navigate the path of cultivation. Only in the human realm can one use this temporary, illusory form to cultivate the true self. You must use this body wisely. Engage in fiercely diligent practice to break through your karmic obstacles and move forward. By doing so, you will rediscover your true self, help all sentient beings leave suffering behind, achieve rebirth in the of Ultimate Bliss, and enter the state of Eternal , True Self, and Purity.
Managing the Spirits Within
This body is capable of creating causes for both goodness and evil, and consequently, it must endure the resulting fruits of those actions. You must learn to skillfully manage the various sentient beings residing within your body. It is important to understand that these spirits are also sentient beings, each possessing and the capacity for both good and evil. You must guide them with :
- For those with malicious tendencies, provide counseling to help them resolve their conflicts and encourage them to accept .
- For those with virtuous tendencies, guide them to enter the golden light so they may attain rebirth in the Land of the Golden Lotus.
These spirits also need to listen to sutras and hear the to understand the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. They must grow weary of the cycle of rebirth, stop the cycle of seeking revenge and repaying debts, and seek their own liberation to leave suffering behind and attain rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
