The Profound of Learning the Buddha's Teachings

Learning the Buddha’s teachings is truly a wonderful blessing. Under the compassionate guidance of the Buddha’s teachings and the support of a true spiritual friend, we are finally able to discover the hidden corners of our Body-Mind-Spirit where filth and impurities have long been concealed. Often, these areas have accumulated layers of thick dust over countless lifetimes. This dust is composed of the Goodness and negative that we have created in the past and continue to create in this present life.

If we had not encountered the Buddha’s teachings, we would remain unaware of this accumulation. Without this awareness, the dust would continue to pile up, and we would remain deeply stained by our own actions. Now, because we have begun to learn the Buddha’s teachings, we have finally discovered these hidden burdens. This discovery provides us with the precious opportunity to face our problems directly, to clear away the debris, and to undergo the process of purification.

The Courage to Face Our True Nature

The process of facing these problems is not always easy. It requires us to overcome our own "self," personal ego, and selfishness, as well as the deep-seated habits that have defined our interactions with others for so long. This is a rigorous test of our own awareness. When we continue to rely on our habitual ways of thinking and acting, we often find ourselves trapped in a cycle of pollution, unable to change our "situations." This leads to several difficult outcomes:

  • The manifestation of who come to seek balance for past harms. The weight of karma that clouds our clarity and peace. The emergence of old age, sickness, and suffering as physical manifestations of our internal state.

In truth, when we allow these negative patterns to persist, the one who suffers the most is ourselves. We often find that we must be hurt repeatedly, time and time again, before we finally wake up and learn to be vigilant.

From Confusion to

This cycle of suffering is the price we pay for a lack of true awareness. However, this very experience also serves a vital purpose: it allows us to understand the root causes of our pollution. By identifying the source, we can finally cut it off at the origin. We no longer allow ourselves to be led by these forces into creating further sins.

Learning the Buddha’s teachings is truly wonderful because it provides the path to liberation. Through diligent practice and purification, we come to understand the actual truth of reality. This understanding gives us the opportunity to work hard, to transform our karma, to reach the state of an awakened being, and to find our original, true nature once again. We are deeply grateful to Namo Amituofo for this path, and we are grateful for everything that has brought us to this moment of clarity.
