The Dust of the World and the Search for Truth

The assembly is a gathering beyond ordinary thought. It is a rare and precious opportunity in a world filled with the dust of confusion. Like floating clouds and a light breeze, the affairs of this world are turbulent and unsettled, much like dust swirling in the air. When you look at the world around you, you must ask yourself: where can one truly find a place to land? Where is the firm ground for your soul?

If you consider the cycle of reincarnation, you must contemplate where you will go after this life. If you only look to the future without understanding the present, you will find no truth. You must realise that you are currently living amidst this dust. This dust of the world is like fine debris, and to find a moment of clarity within it is a rare and difficult achievement. It is far easier to be swept away by the cycle of reincarnation than it is to find the path to liberation.

The Difficulty of Goodness and the Path of

Practising Goodness is not an easy task. In this world, good and evil are constantly shifting, and the manifestations of these changes are numerous. Many people live their lives without a clear sense of their own true nature. We look upon the suffering of beings in this world with great . We see that there are no grievances that cannot be resolved, and no path that cannot be corrected. We are all children of the Buddha, and in this present moment, we must awaken.

Within this Dharma assembly, how many souls are suffering? There are countless beings enduring the hardships of the cycle of reincarnation. They are like monks lost in a sea of suffering, facing endless challenges. I have come to this assembly to help you resolve this suffering and escape the cycle of reincarnation. You, my children, are currently lost in a vast ocean of confusion. To stop this suffering, you must simply chant Namo Amituofo all the way.

The Promise of Deliverance

I have already arrived. I am here to lead you, moment by moment, with the light of my compassion. Avalokiteshvara follows me, and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva waits by my side. Together, we are here to lead the countless suffering souls who have been left behind. We only ask for your sincere faith and your vow to be reborn in the of Ultimate Bliss so that you may see the Holy Ones.

All those gathered in this great assembly, follow me closely. I release the lotus light to save you and guide the lonely souls home. You must awaken, my children. You have a duty to save the beings of this world. The world is no longer a place of Goodness, so do not dwell on the past. The most important matter in your practice is the work of . When you hear the teachings of the scriptures, you must ensure that you are walking the right path.

  • Recite the Infinite Life Sutra: This is the foundation of your daily practice.
  • Perform prostrations: Bow to the Buddha to humble the ego and purify the heart.
  • Practise the Pure Land path: Keep your heart pure so that you may dwell in the Pure Land.

The Call to Return Home

I am here for you, waiting for you to follow your heart. You must know the truth and understand where your true destination lies. When you realise the ultimate truth, you will no longer be a wandering soul. If you were to face the end of your life today, you must know that your faith is real and your path is secure. The Dharma assembly is a practical application of the Truth. It is a way to save all beings, regardless of their background, and to bring them into the light.

The ancestors will no longer be lost, and future generations will have a clear path to follow. We shall all go to the place of light together, for we have pledged our faith in Namo Amituofo. The essence of the Pure Land path lies in your faith, your sincerity, and your vows. When these are combined with your practice, your potential will be fully realised. Do not let your weigh you down. Instead, move towards the light. There is no truth in the dust of this world. What you see are merely appearances; you must know the reality and follow the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Do not let your karma grow; instead, place your trust in the sincerity of your practice. This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Shi Faxi.
