The Radiant Wisdom of the Patriarch

In this sacred dialogue, we turn our attention to the profound insights of the Third Patriarch, National Master Xianshou. He offers us a glimpse into the vast, compassionate work of that transcends the boundaries of space and time, bringing light to the darkest corners of our world. National Master Xianshou shares these verses to illuminate the path of the practitioner:

  • One must adapt to Causal Conditions with wisdom to save beings far and wide.
  • With dignified conduct and established rules, one can subdue even the deepest resentment.
  • By maintaining a gentle, upright, and sincere heart, one walks the path of the Buddha.
  • To take on the suffering of all beings is to embody the four virtues of the Buddha.
  • The light of the Buddha shines infinitely, saving all beings from their endless suffering.
  • Practitioner Su performs the work of -Body Visualisation Deliverance with unwavering dedication.
  • Through the , the gates of space are opened to those in need.
  • Countless spirits, lost and lonely, find themselves without a place to turn.
  • Seeing the Buddha arrive to save them, they kneel and beg for liberation.
  • At the sound of the Buddha-name, the light of the Buddha illuminates their path.
  • The six-syllable name of Namo Amituofo welcomes them as new disciples of the Buddha.
  • Human selfishness often creates barriers that make salvation difficult to attain.
  • Yet, across the mountains and rivers of the earth, the light of Goodness is awakened.
  • Together, all beings chant Namo Amituofo to dissolve their suffering.
  • This is truly a miraculous event, a testament to the power of the Dharma.
  • Practitioner Su uses his wisdom to manifest these miracles for the benefit of all.

The Daily Practice of Dharma-Body Visualisation Deliverance

Across the vast expanse of the universe, Practitioner Su performs the work of Dharma-Body Visualisation Deliverance every single day without interruption. He is accompanied by a dedicated assembly, including ancestral masters, Venerable Chang Ren, Venerable Yong Ning, Venerable Chang Gao, and even Steve Jobs. They are joined by Bodhisattvas from the Milky Way, cosmic Bodhisattvas, new disciples of the Buddha, and the chanting team.

Together, they visualise the Chao Du of every mountain range and every river across mainland China. Even the dust storms that plague the space over Beijing are objects of this compassionate visualisation. This work is not merely a ritual; it is a profound act of love that seeks to purify the environment and liberate the spirits trapped within the cycle of rebirth, aligning them with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.

Healing the World During Times of Crisis

As the current pandemic continues to unfold, it has deeply affected the global economy and the lives of countless people. The loss of life has caused great anxiety and unrest in the hearts of many. Following his work in bringing rain to Australia, Practitioner Su has once again manifested his great . During the Thrice Yearning Ceremony, he utilised Dharma-Body Visualisation Deliverance to reach out to suffering spirits across China, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Goombungee and Toowoomba regions of Australia.

Practitioner Su’s wisdom is boundless. He initiates the visualisation from the great mountain ranges of China, extending his into countless manifestations to cover the vast landscapes and rivers. Under the guidance of Venerable Chang Ren, who coordinates the various regions, Practitioner Su’s Dharma Body works simultaneously across the globe. He inspires the mountain deities of famous peaks to chant Namo Amituofo. This chanting spreads to the spirits of the grass, trees, and flowers, and even to the smallest insects and creatures. Even the spirits of the stones, both small and large, join in the chorus, chanting the Buddha-name with great fervour. They do this to perform a great act of Goodness, hoping to resolve the pandemic and restore the world to peace, thereby helping all those living in fear and on the brink of ruin.

An Unprecedented Gathering of Spirits

For the first time, these spirits of the mountains and rivers have been able to participate in a grand, world-saving endeavour. By doing so, they are also able to liberate their own . The chanting team began their work from the outer reaches of China—Tibet and Mongolia—before moving to the ancient capitals of Beijing, Nanjing, Chang'an, Luoyang, and Kaifeng.

Along the way, they encountered many spirits who knelt and begged for repentance and deliverance. Even at Tiananmen, spirits who had suffered during past upheavals were found seeking salvation. Seeing the infinite light of the chanting team, they joined in the recitation. It was a magnificent and rare karmic affinity. They witnessed Practitioner Su, his entire body radiating a brilliant golden light, chanting along with them. His compassion, pushed from within to the outside, swept across every corner of China, reaching into Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan, before returning to Australia. He led all residents, the spirits of the dust, the flowers, and the grass in chanting Namo Amituofo. Their collective sincerity moved heaven and earth, leaving even the demon crowds in a state of bewilderment. Because many of the new disciples of the Buddha were once part of these demon crowds, this deliverance was truly unprecedented, shaking the very foundations of the earth with a power and compassion that is beyond compare. Practitioner Su possesses a heart and mind equal to that of the Buddha. He constantly operates with a compassionate heart to uplift sentient beings, vowing to save all suffering beings until none remain.

The Call to Awaken

Witnessing this magnificent scene, I, Xianshou, along with the ancestral masters, joined in the chanting, praising the extraordinary work of Practitioner Su. His Ultimate Vow will surely be fulfilled. I recall the time in the Octagonal Pavilion when I explained the concept of infinite light. Now, hearing Practitioner Su’s daily explanations of the Buddha’s teachings, I see how he saves all spirits by breaking through the barriers of space. Even the sandstorms of Beijing are objects of his deliverance. His daily visualisation, his diligent practice, and his accumulation of merit are all for the sake of saving more beings who are in desperate need. In the face of this pandemic, truly, only Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su can provide the path to salvation. For all beings to be released from their suffering, one must simply chant the name: Namo Amituofo.

Recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Shi Hailiang.
