The Reality of 'Face-Changing' and the Human Spirit
An Interview with the Spirit of Lee Kuan Yew
Recorded on July 7, 2018
This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Lee Kuan Yew, the former Prime Minister of Singapore, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his observations of the spiritual realm and the nature of human . Recorded by the disciple Haipin on July 7, 2018.
Lee Kuan Yew speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. As a Prime Minister, whether in matters of protocol or personal habit, I was always the one leading the way, always at the very front. But here, in the presence of the Buddha, my position has shifted. I now follow in the footsteps of Practitioner Su, participating in the morning deliverance. My position is now at the back, and I do this intentionally. I want to ensure that every single sentient being is able to board the lotus seat, receive deliverance, and gain the benefits of the .
A Shift in Perspective
Only now, from this vantage point, do I deeply realise that a change in position and altitude brings about such a vast difference in one's understanding and insight into matters. This is a good thing—a comprehensive, all-encompassing form of training. It is a lesson that I wish I could have fully grasped while I was still in the human world.
I would like to appeal to the many leaders currently in the political arena: try changing your position. If you shift your perspective, your mind will follow, and you will gain a much deeper and more profound understanding of the world. When it comes to many issues, especially in politics, having just a little more understanding leads to a little more empathy. From that empathy, true naturally arises."
The Hidden Reality of 'Face-Changing'
"However, there is a serious problem that I want to tell you about—a problem that most people are unaware of, yet it exists in a very real and dangerous way. Every human being possesses what we call the three hun souls and seven po souls. When a person's heart and mind are not upright or grounded in the truth, these three hun souls and seven po souls can be replaced by other spirits. The words that come out of their mouths may not be the genuine intentions of their own true self.
If you remember the plot of the movie 'Face-Off,' I tell you now that in the real world, such 'face-changing' scenarios truly exist. But it does not require the complicated surgical procedures seen in films. Instead, it occurs when an external spirit directly invades and replaces the original spirit. It is like borrowing a body to return to life. Consequently, the person's behavioral details begin to deviate from their usual self. They begin to create negative , yet it is the original spirit who must bear the consequences of these actions.
The Truth Behind the Veil
These are the secrets of space and dimension that are not known to outsiders. Yet, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, one can find the true answers to these mysteries. This is because the different layers of space and dimension have long been transcended by Practitioner Su. Because of this, beings who have been trapped in the cycle of rebirth for countless eons are finally able to receive the benefits of deliverance.
This temple possesses an immense amount of hidden power—the power of kindness and virtuous thoughts. It performs good deeds silently, never seeking recognition or fame. It was only when Namo Amituofo descended into the human world to conduct large-scale deliverance for the spirits of the underworld that the doors were truly opened. The centre is now prepared to welcome more students to learn the great Dharma of the Pure Land, helping many sentient beings and Bodhisattvas who have remained hidden from the world's view.
A Final Reflection
In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I see everything clearly. I must emphasise again and again that this is a true place of practice, one that is worth dedicating your entire life to support and protect. If you come and visit just once, you will understand everything. I, too, was saved and guided to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss from this very place. I am filled with gratitude to Namo Amituofo, to Practitioner Su, and to the fourfold assembly of disciples. Namo Amituofo!"
Message recorded by the disciple Haipin.
