Teachings from Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:

The Ripple Effect of Our Thoughts

Messages are composed of the thoughts and intentions that arise from within an individual. In essence, they represent the meaning that one wishes to convey, transmitted to another as a form of communication. However, these messages and thoughts do not simply vanish once they are formed. They are released into the vast expanse of space, where they can be perceived by other beings.

This process has profound consequences. For instance, may use these transmitted thoughts to locate their debtors, seeking to settle past accounts. Similarly, beings in the spiritual realms may follow these signals to find individuals who share similar thoughts or character traits, leading to instances of spiritual attachment. Because our thoughts act as a beacon, we must be extremely mindful of what we project into the universe.

The Secret to Maintaining a Pure Mind

Given the complexity of these spiritual transmissions, the most effective way to protect yourself is to cease the projection of unnecessary thoughts. The secret to maintaining a pure mind is to focus entirely on chanting Namo Amituofo. By ensuring that the Buddha-name is recited continuously without interruption, you create a protective shield of purity. When your mind is occupied solely by the Buddha, there is no room for the chaotic messages that attract unwanted spiritual influences.

In the spiritual realms, communication often occurs through the direct transmission of thoughts rather than through spoken language. These messages vary in clarity and strength, depending on two primary factors: the level of purity attained by the recipient and the intensity of the energy behind the message being sent.

Heart-to-Heart Communication at Hsiang Kuang

At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, Namo Amituofo and the Teacher communicate with recipients through a heart-to-heart connection. For the fourfold assembly of disciples, the key to receiving these messages accurately is to be obedient and to undergo thorough purification. When you are in the process of receiving a message, you must set aside your own opinions, views, and personal interpretations. You must act as a clear vessel, directly expressing the message exactly as it is received.

Although these messages are silent, they are clear in every word and phrase. Whether they are transcribed orally, written down by hand, or typed directly into text, they represent the authentic words of the Buddha and the Teacher. These teachings serve as vital Jewels, providing the guidance, supervision, and encouragement necessary for your spiritual progress.

Listening to the Voices of All Beings

Some practitioners possess the ability to open up space, allowing them to receive messages directly from beings across the spiritual realms. This communication is not limited to humans; it extends to a vast array of life forms:

  • Animals and Insects:
  • Including cattle, sheep, horses, frogs, snakes, butterflies, and various insects.Nature and Elements:
  • The voices of trees, flowers, grasses, the air, water, clouds in the sky, stones, soil, and dust.Inanimate Objects: Even everyday items such as pots, bowls, chopsticks, fruits, and food carry their own unique resonance.

Those with open eyes can perceive that all beings—both sentient and insentient—as well as various forms of matter and space, contain a spirit within them. Once the space is opened, one can engage in dialogue with beings from the six realms of existence, the four categories of sages, various deities, and even the demon crowds.

The Path to True

Purification is an essential process that every practitioner must undergo. To receive messages with high credibility, one must cultivate the following qualities:

  • :
  • Letting go of ego-attachment and personal views.Objectivity:
  • Removing all subjective opinions and personal biases. An Empty Heart: Maintaining a state of openness, ensuring that no personal agenda interferes with the transmission.

These are the fundamental requirements for any recipient of such messages. Those who have realised their true nature can discern the credibility of these communications with great accuracy. Indeed, messages received by a practitioner who has achieved a state of pure Awakening can reach a level of one hundred per cent reliability.

As a practitioner, you should set Awakening as your ultimate goal. By understanding the intentions and root nature of others, you can effectively carry out the work of saving the world, rescuing suffering beings, and spreading the Pure Land teachings. Let us strive to reach this state of clarity, guided always by the light of Namo Amituofo.
