The Treasure Within

True freedom does not come from external circumstances; it arises from within your own heart. It is not something that can be replaced or provided by the outside world. People in this world are accustomed to searching for happiness and security externally, yet they remain unaware that the greatest treasure is already within their own true self.

When your habitual thoughts become fixed patterns, you create openings for spiritual attachments to take hold. These patterns cloud your clarity and hinder your progress on the path to .

Breaking the Chains of Emotion

The emotional fluctuations that occur between men and women often lead to deep attachments. When you entrust your life to these fleeting emotions, you inevitably find yourself trapped in the cycle of being reincarnated. To break free from this cycle, you must:

  • Sever the ties of worldly emotional attachments.
  • Diligently chant Namo Amituofo to purify your body, mind, and spirit.
  • Focus your energy on the path of liberation rather than the distractions of the world.

The Reality of Impermanence

When your perspective expands, you will begin to see the true nature of existence. You will clearly recognise the suffering inherent in the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death.

Understanding that impermanence and suffering are the true characteristics of this world is the first step toward genuine wisdom. Brief gatherings with others are merely the result of conditions arising and ceasing. Do not be trapped by attachment to these temporary moments. Instead, keep your heart firmly fixed on Namo Amituofo. By doing so, you will rediscover your true self and align your heart with the Buddha-heart.

The Path to Ultimate Freedom

Continue to chant Namo Amituofo without interruption. When you reach a state of deep meditative concentration, you will find that you can act according to the Buddha-vows without a trace of selfish intent. To be with the Buddha is the greatest blessing one can receive. When you move forward without obstruction, you have truly found freedom and ease.

As you reach this state, the lotus will bloom to welcome you into the of Ultimate Bliss.

This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
