The Universal Law of Existence

Recorded and transcribed by Namo Amituofo’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe.

The three concepts of Cause, Condition, and Effect represent the very essence of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. To understand our existence, we must look deeply into how these three forces interact to shape our reality:

  • Cause: This refers to the initial seeds we plant through our thoughts, words, and actions.
  • Condition: This encompasses the people, objects, events, and environments that surround us, acting as the catalysts for our past actions.
  • Effect: This is the manifestation of the result when the conditions are ripe for the cause to bear fruit.

Therefore, the primary condition for any karmic result to manifest is the ripening of conditions. If the conditions have not yet matured, even if we have already planted the seeds of good or evil, the resulting consequences will not yet have the opportunity to appear in our lives.

The Salvation of Demon Crowds

Consider the current situation where the demon crowds have encountered Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su manifesting in this world. This is a rare and special affinity manifesting before us. Because these conditions have matured, those among the demon crowds who have the necessary spiritual foundation are able to receive salvation and enter the Western Land of Dharma Nature.

For these beings to be saved, there must have been a pre-existing connection. In their past lives, they must have had a karmic affinity with Namo Amituofo or Practitioner Su, which allowed them to plant the initial seed of liberation. Now, with the conditions having matured, they are finally able to enter the Western Land of Dharma Nature. This is the fruition of their long-held potential.

A Sanctuary for Transformation

Once these beings arrive in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, they find themselves in an environment that is pure, supremely good, and devoid of evil. In this sacred space, there is no opportunity for evil thoughts, harmful actions, or negative conditions to mature. Consequently, they are no longer subject to the negative consequences of their past actions.

This environment allows these beings to:

  • Calm and settle their original nature.
  • Reflect upon their past mistakes.
  • Repent and turn towards goodness.

For the demon crowds, this is truly a once-in-a-thousand-years opportunity to leave suffering behind and find true happiness.

The Indestructible

The six-character name of "Namo Amituofo" is the Vajra Seed of . Once this name enters the ear, it becomes a permanent seed of the path, serving as the good cause for future liberation. Regardless of how many lifetimes, eons, or trillions of years may pass, this Vajra Seed remains forever within one's .

It waits patiently for the external conditions to mature. Once those conditions are met, the seed is nourished, allowing it to grow and eventually bear the fruit of Bodhi. This is the moment of achieving Buddhahood, which is the ultimate effect of our practice.

The Mission at Hsiang Kuang

At this very moment, Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre is located in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. By being present here, we are able to provide foreign friends who have the affinity to visit this Buddha-land the opportunity to hear the name of "Namo Amituofo."

Simply by hearing this sacred Buddha-name, they are able to plant the Vajra Seed of Bodhi within their own minds. No matter how much time passes, they will eventually have the opportunity to be saved and leave suffering behind. This is the compassionate work we carry out, ensuring that the light of Namo Amituofo reaches all who are ready to receive it.
