Beyond the Physical Veil

The myriad phenomena of this world are rarely limited to the external appearances perceived by our physical eyes. Within every object and event, there lies a vast, hidden truth—a reality that often remains concealed from human knowledge and common sense. While some of these truths have been explored through human intellect, science, and academic study, the deeper spiritual realities are only fully articulated through the Buddha’s teachings. Today, a further dimension of the spiritual world has been unveiled by the students of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, including the profound ability to transcend the limitations of time and space.

Because these deep spiritual truths are invisible to the naked eye, many people find them difficult to believe. Modern education encourages us to place our faith in science, medical statistics, research data, and our own limited personal experiences. In our cleverness and worldly debates, we have lost the precious opportunity to believe in the Truth, the sacred words of the Buddha, and our own true nature.

The Rare Opportunity at Hsiang Kuang

We are currently living in an era that is difficult to encounter in millions of years. For those of us gathered here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, we must have already possessed the necessary conditions to enter this sacred Buddha-land. What we see and hear here is so inconceivable that it often leaves us in awe. If you had not entered this temple to witness and hear these things for yourself, it would be nearly impossible to believe that such phenomena could truly occur based solely on the accounts of others.

This is precisely why those who enter this centre come to realise that everything happening here is authentic. It is not about strange powers, supernatural displays, or distant, unreachable concepts. Rather, it is the manifestation of our true nature—the very Truth that resides within every one of us. This nature simply needs to be developed and guided correctly to flourish, ensuring we do not stray onto wrong paths, fall into deviant practices, or descend into the demon path. Countless people throughout history, both at home and abroad, have sought the Truth but, lacking proper guidance, have gone astray, suffered financial and physical ruin, or even fallen into the hells.

The of Karmic Connection

Therefore, we can see that the students of Hsiang Kuang—regardless of how they arrived here—are truly blessed. Whether you were introduced by relatives or friends, found information online, followed your spouse or elders, or were moved to investigate after attending the or listening to the talks given by Practitioner Su in Taiwan or Hong Kong, your presence here is a testament to your immense blessings. It is the manifestation of your own good roots and karmic connections from past lives that allow you to sit here today.

You must understand how rare and precious it is to enter the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. For those fellow practitioners who have left this path, let their departure serve as a stern warning. To sink into worldly affairs, the , and , mistaking them for the norm, is to be trapped by the laws of and the relentless demands of . This prevents the achievement of the Buddha’s path and is a truly terrifying state. Within the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, the requirements regarding the laws of karma and the purity of our thoughts are the most rigorous and subtle. You must be extremely cautious.

The of Practitioner Su

Practitioner Su, in his great compassion, cannot bear to see you suffer. He knows that you may find such strict requirements difficult to endure, so he often provides leniency, helping you by inviting spirits to resolve conflicts, thereby relieving your own suffering and bearing the burden on your behalf. When he teaches, he is tireless in his reminders to change your personality traits and habits. He understands clearly that within your kind, original nature, once karma manifests, you may lose all ability to resist, leading to words and actions that contradict your true, good nature. Therefore, he makes the primary goal, guiding and counseling you to transform , personal ego, and selfishness so that you may avoid the suffering of in the hells. You should understand this and feel fortunate to have encountered such an enlightened teacher. This connection is a result of your past lives with him; please cherish it deeply.

The Great Vow for All Beings

To help beings gain a deeper realisation, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and those who have realised their true nature often teach using the principle that the Dharma has no fixed form. After all, if one wishes to save beings throughout the ten directions of the Dharma Realm, one must possess the supreme power of the Great Dharma. The appearance of someone capable of bearing this responsibility in this world signifies that the causal conditions have matured. This is no small matter. The one who can shoulder this great Dharma must be one who carries an Ultimate Vow; such a person is not an ordinary being, but one with deep good roots from past lives. That person is Practitioner Su. In this Dharma-ending age, to encounter such a teacher is truly rare. This is the very reason why the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and truly abide at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
