Namo Amituofo constantly emits a golden light, a beacon of hope that never fades. This light is the manifestation of His commitment to lead all beings from the ten directions who chant Buddha's name into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is a realm of Infinite Life and Infinite Light, where the Buddha-light shines eternally and the existence of time itself has no end.
The possess a profound and inconceivable power. They are capable of subduing even the most persistent demon crowds that hinder our spiritual progress. This efficacy is made possible because Practitioner Su is of one heart with Namo Amituofo. Because of this profound alignment, Namo Amituofo accompanies and assists Practitioner Su with these Twelve Lights. This reality demonstrates the inconceivable Wisdom and merit of Namo Amituofo, and it is also a response to the sincere and earnest heart of Practitioner Su, who follows the Buddha in the work of saving beings.
For those of us on the path of practice, we must cultivate a heart that mirrors this steadfastness. Our practice must be a continuous process of refinement:
