The Urgent Necessity of Deliverance
An Interview with the Spirit of Lee Kuan Yew
Recorded on September 16, 2018
This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Lee Kuan Yew, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, listening to the teachings of Namo Amituofo. This account reflects upon his life and his spiritual realisation. Recorded by the disciple Haipin on September 16, 2018.
Lee Kuan Yew speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. Today coincides with the . Through the compassionate guidance of Practitioner Su, I have been able to witness the countless I have accumulated over accumulated lifetimes. It is truly terrifying. If I had not encountered this Buddha-land today, I would not even be able to imagine how to repay these debts, or when I could ever hope to settle them. It is absolutely frightening to behold.
When we are fortunate enough to be human, we often view matters solely from our own limited perspective. We never stop to consider if there is anything amiss in our actions. We always assume that others simply do not understand us, which is why there are so many conflicting voices in the world. Just as I did during my life, when I held a position of high authority and governed through a centralised system, I never felt that the policies I decided upon were flawed. In truth, it is incredibly difficult to satisfy everyone and to handle affairs with perfect roundness. Many grievances or enmities were quietly formed without my even being aware of them. This is even more true when one considers the established over accumulated lifetimes. This is precisely why Chao Du is so important. Most importantly, one must encounter Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, who possesses the genuine ability to perform Chao Du and lead sentient beings to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
The Unseen Weight of Governance
During the Thrice Yearning Ceremony, the reality of this became even clearer to me. I saw waves upon waves of spirits pouring in, an overwhelming tide of beings. If it were not for the assistance of Skanda in maintaining order, it would be impossible to imagine how such a situation could be managed. In the world today, people lack sufficient ; they do not know that in a corner of the Earth, there exists a rare and precious treasure. It is a unique place, quietly cultivating, quietly doing good, quietly accumulating energy, and even more quietly nurturing the next generation to carry on the torch.
Such a magnificent undertaking is something that Singapore truly should not fall behind in. In terms of military affairs, I always knew to arrange for our troops to train in Australia. If I were still alive and knew of such an unparalleled, world-saving skill, I would certainly have dedicated all available resources to it without a moment’s hesitation.
A Father’s Plea to His Son
My son, Hsien Loong, if you can see even a shred of information regarding the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, your father truly hopes that you will take the time to study it carefully. When we are young, we strive for glory and success, but in our old age, we inevitably end up in hospitals, relying on injections and medication—a path that is difficult for any worldly person to avoid. Hsien Loong, you are luckier than your father; you have the opportunity to make a different choice. Our lives do not simply come to an end when the physical body collapses. In fact, that may only be the beginning of another kind of suffering. If one has not accumulated merit and virtue, I find it very difficult to imagine what the consequences would be without the help of Practitioner Su.
Your father makes this earnest appeal, and I do so out of genuine concern for the welfare of the people of Singapore. You should come, and you must come, to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. You must learn what the true Buddha’s teachings are; this is far too important to ignore. I am now listening to the sutras every day before Namo Amituofo, and I can also receive the transmissions of Practitioner Su’s talks. I wish to offer you the phrase 'Namo Amituofo' to form a karmic connection with you. Whenever you feel panic or unease, try chanting 'Namo Amituofo'. You must be sincere, and you will receive unexpected and profound benefits.
A Final Invitation
Your father has said so much, but it all comes down to this: I am waiting for you to visit the temple. You will find that the journey is well worth your time. Namo Amituofo."
