The Vital Importance of Spiritual Practice

It is only now, from my current perspective, that I truly realise how vital spiritual practice is. Without it, we age rapidly, and our lives lose their deeper purpose. The Amituofo Village is a sanctuary uniquely connected to Namo Amituofo. To arrive at the Amituofo Village is, in essence, to have already arrived at the of Ultimate Bliss.

A Life Dedicated to Giving Back

Throughout my life, I, Zhang Rongfa, always believed that giving back to society was a matter of the utmost importance. As one grows older, one naturally becomes a burden to one's children and to society at large. Therefore, I felt that doing good deeds from a young age was essential. Any wealth I was able to accumulate was only possible because of the support and care I received from the people in our society.

Regardless of how much the Zhang Rongfa Foundation may have misunderstood my benefactor, Practitioner Su, I have always been the most steadfast supporter of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre from the very beginning. I have always been a person who values loyalty and righteousness, especially towards those who have shown me kindness. From my youth, I possessed a far-reaching vision, which led me to choose a career that could endure for the long term. Naturally, the desire to help others was always at the forefront of my mind, which is why I established the Zhang Rongfa Foundation.

I must offer my sincere apologies to Practitioner Su. At that time, my had not yet fully manifested, which is why I allowed the Buddha to be sent away to others. I am not a selfish person; as long as the Buddha remains in Taiwan, it is always a wonderful thing for all.

The Reality of Impermanence

Everyone today is aware of the most difficult challenge facing our society: the issue of caring for the elderly. This is not only a concern in Taiwan; I have heard that in other countries, the situation is even more severe. When I was young, I often thought about living in the same place with a few good friends, where we could look after one another. However, an ideal is merely an ideal. In the end, we all drifted apart. This is the nature of impermanence in human life.

To overcome this impermanence, I am now in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and I have heard that Namo Amituofo intends to establish an Amituofo Village in Australia. I offer my full and enthusiastic support for this project; it is truly the best possible endeavour. Those who read this letter must seize the opportunity to secure a place there. I have heard that it is very affordable and offers a guarantee of peace for the end of life.

A Sanctuary for the Soul

Some might think that chanting Namo Amituofo together sounds monotonous, but in reality, it is far from it. Every day, the schedule at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is filled with meaningful activities. From the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I see everything that happens there, and I join all of you in your practice. I have come to realise now how important this practice is; otherwise, we age far too quickly.

The Amituofo Village is inextricably linked to Namo Amituofo. To come to the Amituofo Village is to be in the presence of the Buddha. If I were still in the physical world, I would certainly support this project and introduce it to everyone I know. Now, from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I urge everyone not to miss this opportunity. Furthermore, those who join early will be closer to my benefactor, Practitioner Su. This is a first-class, auspicious opportunity that should not be missed.
