The Harmony of the Middle Way

The Middle Way is the path that is in perfect harmony with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Excess and deficiency are the two extremes; they are transient and limited. That which reaches an extreme must inevitably reverse; this is a natural phenomenon. One must use wisdom to choose the Middle Way, for only this path can endure and lead to ultimate success.

The Journey from Samsara to

In your practice, you are travelling from the cycle of rebirth, driven by , toward the state of an awakened being who has realised their true nature and attained Buddhahood. This journey requires the processes of making vows and purification. You must possess firm perseverance, never interrupting your practice, never giving up, and remaining undisturbed by external circumstances. You must constantly uphold the principles of , Concentration, and Wisdom. Maintaining a correct and positive attitude is the driving force for your continued practice, and only then will you reach the time when you can realise your true nature and save all beings.

The Preciousness of the Path

You must clearly see the suffering of all beings to truly understand the magnificence of the Causal Conditions that have brought you to practise in this Buddha-land. Only when you recognise the depth of this suffering can you appreciate how precious it is to be able to leave suffering behind. This understanding allows you to cherish every single second and grasp the rare and profound teachings that are so difficult to encounter. My children, you must act upon these teachings, you must realise them, and you must cherish this opportunity! This discourse was recorded by the Buddha’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
