A Rare and Precious Opportunity

The Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre is a place of unique and unparalleled significance. The Fragrant Light shines forth, illuminating the entire earth, and the beings of the realm of emptiness rejoice. We have waited for a thousand years for this opportunity to leave the cycle of rebirth behind and attain Buddhahood. How rare and precious it is to encounter such a moment! We welcome the arrival of the causes of benevolence, which allow us to walk the path of the enlightened.

The Power of a Single Thought

The transformation from evil to good occurs within the span of a single thought. If you maintain the Buddha in your mind with every thought, you are walking the path toward Buddhahood. By manifesting in this human world, we have the power to turn the tide of our destiny. People often drift toward evil, yet the choice to turn toward goodness remains entirely within our own hearts. Do not blame others for influencing the crowd.

If your own thoughts were not astray, what could possibly attract a demon? The line between a demon and a Buddha is as thin as a thread. If you fail to follow the path of goodness, you are, in effect, becoming a demon yourself.

Transforming through

Through the great power of compassion, we can guide all beings toward the light. We can even transform the negative influence of demons into the supportive power of the Buddha. The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is a great precious land that embraces all beings as one. By transforming evil into good, we become true children of the Buddha. This brings great to all and serves as a vital aid to those suffering in the cycle of rebirth.

Everyone has the potential to achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and attain Buddhahood. This journey begins with the purification brought about by the six-character name of Namo Amituofo. Namo Amituofo is the embodiment of great compassion. He does not hold onto past grievances but welcomes us with open arms.

Returning to the Compassionate Countenance

Do not hesitate any longer; put your full effort into your practice. Start by accumulating merit and virtue in your daily life. One day, when you return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and face the compassionate countenance of the Buddha, you will have no regrets for the mistakes of the past. There is only the infinite grace of Namo Amituofo.
