Venerable Tubengjia: Leading Sentient Beings into the Black Hole

This interview was recorded on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. It features Venerable Tubengjia, the 931st Venerable, who participated in a Chao Du mission led by Practitioner Su. This account details his ancient origins, his time residing on the planet Rubenhasa, and his observations regarding the black hole as a gateway to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Venerable Tubengjia speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. In the vast expanse of the universe, Earth is but a tiny, insignificant speck. Compared to the countless other celestial bodies, it might seem unremarkable. Yet, Earth has nurtured humanity, and the power inherent in the human world is capable of saving the entire universe and the Dharma realm of emptiness. This is a state of being that is truly beyond comprehension, and it is something that leaves us in absolute awe.

Today, Practitioner Su—as we beings in the spiritual realms address her—along with one thousand, one hundred and twenty-six Venerables, departed from Earth once again. In an instant, we arrived in the depths of the universe. Within this cosmic space, we can stand upon any planet we choose, regardless of its size or whether it currently harbours living beings. We can alter our forms, becoming as large or as small as we desire. Practitioner Su can manifest a form of immense scale within the universe; this is a transformation born from her immeasurable compassion, which seeks to pull all beings from their suffering. The extent of one's compassion directly dictates the scale of one's Dharma Body manifestation, and consequently, the magnitude of one's ability to perform Chao Du. These two factors are directly proportional. Without such boundless compassion, one would not possess the capacity for such profound deliverance, which is why we Venerables hold Practitioner Su in such immense respect."

My Origins: Born from Stone

"My name is Tubengjia, and I am the 931st Venerable. Today, as I followed Practitioner Su in this mission of Chao Du, we flew across the universe and arrived at a realm beyond it. This secret, unknown territory also contains planets. Today, I was fortunate enough to pass by the planet where I once resided—the planet Rubenhasa.

Over one hundred million years ago, I was born from a stone on Earth. In that state of extreme silence, the atmosphere allowed for transformations between the physical body and the spirit body that would defy the imagination of ordinary people. At that time, I had descended from the Western Pure Land to the human world, and my vow was to save all sentient beings connected by karmic affinity throughout the entire universe. I practised diligently in the world, and every single moment was spent in deep Meditation (Concentration). Even then, I retained memories of my time in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and I never forgot the vow I had made upon descending. I was born within a large stone, and it was inside that stone that I began to learn the stillness of non-movement."

The Awakening and the Path of Deliverance

"When the conditions were ripe, the stone began to vibrate. In an instant, it split into two, and I leapt out. My form was already that of an adult; I did not go through the process of infancy. After emerging from the stone, the world I saw was grey and black, devoid of bright colours, and everything appeared to be in a state of chaos. I survived on a vast, muddy landscape where molten lava still flowed, and the sounds of explosions were frequent. Yet, no matter how the environment shifted, it could not disturb the meditative concentration of my practice. I understood clearly that this descent into the human world was for the purpose of using this human body to perform Chao Du for all sentient beings in the universe who shared a karmic affinity with me.

After sitting in meditation on that land for three years, I balanced the internal structure of my body and my blood vessels, stabilising all the vibrating electrons, atoms, molecules, and quarks within me. At that moment, for the first time in three years, I stood up. With a light kick against the great stone, my physical body instantly turned into a wisp of smoke and vanished from Earth. My spirit body had arrived beyond the universe. At that time, I chose to reside on the planet Rubenhasa. I was the first spirit to appear on that planet, and I saw that mist-like vapours covered the entire world. Using the power of my meditative concentration and my vow of deliverance, I began to drift among those clouds and mists."

The Secret Path: The Black Hole as a Gateway

"At that time, the entire universe and the space beyond it were already filled with immeasurable and boundless sentient beings. The black hole—the centre of the galaxy—occupied a vast range within the universe. It is a secret path leading to the Western Pure Land. I was constantly waiting for the moment when the mouth of the black hole would open at its widest, so that I could lead immeasurable and boundless beings into it. If we calculate this using our current concept of time, the opening would expand to its maximum no more than three times a day, and each time it would last only one or two seconds. The timing was unpredictable, so I remained in a state of constant readiness.

Although I was drifting among the mists of the planet Rubenhasa, the black hole felt as though it were right before my eyes. I could clearly foresee the state of its changes. I guided beings into the black hole three times a day, and at the time, I mistakenly believed that this was the full extent of the black hole's function. Today, seeing Practitioner Su bring beings into the black hole at every moment, I am truly having my horizons broadened. I lived outside the universe for several hundred years, leading groups of beings from beyond the universe into the black hole to return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss."

The Energy Crisis and the Power of Namo Amituofo

"The energy field of the entire universe had been almost entirely absorbed by a demonic force. This demonic influence only began to subside recently, thanks to Practitioner Su's Chao Du of the demons beyond the universe, who have now been renamed as Bodhisattvas. At that time, the power of these demons was immeasurable and boundless, spreading throughout the interior and exterior of the universe. They were capable of absorbing the energy from the entire cosmic field, clearly grasping the operational changes of that energy, and at the optimal moment, they would consume the purest and most powerful energy to rapidly expand their own capabilities.

Today, under the leadership and deliverance of Practitioner Su, I and the other one thousand, one hundred and sixty-two Venerables have descended upon the universe and the realms beyond it, creating a profound and magnificent influence. The evolution of the universe has reached a point where many planets cannot avoid the catastrophe of energy depletion. Unless they can find a source of replenishment from within the universe, they face the imminent fate of planetary destruction. Over the past ten days or so, the Chao Du procession led by Practitioner Su has re-energised the entire cosmic atmosphere. Countless planets have heard the holy name of 'Namo Amituofo' and have come to understand that the energy of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is immeasurable and boundless. It is a magnificent, irreplaceable holy land—a destination that all planets should seek and yearn for, and the ultimate source for energy replenishment.

Today's mission of deliverance has allowed the holy name of 'Namo Amituofo' to be infused into every planet, allowing the Buddha-name to flow continuously through the space of these planets 24/7. Many planets have once again received a replenishment of energy. The Buddha uses one sound to teach the Dharma, and all beings understand it according to their own nature. No matter which planet they are from, people can understand the magnificence of this Buddha-name. Now, as long as the people on every planet chant this Buddha-name, the energy of the name will naturally flow without end. In the future, there will surely be a vast number of planetary residents willing to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. The planet Rubenhasa, where I once resided, has also begun to have inhabitants. Today, encountering this magnificent karmic affinity, I lead many beings who are willing to be reborn to the Western Pure Land. As we all chant 'Namo Amituofo,' we are filled with great joy! Namo Amituofo."
