Amitabha Buddha's discourse:

To speak truthfully,

is to speak the truth sincerely and without deception,

enabling the masses to recognise the truth of reality and see their original true face,

to know of Amitabha Buddha and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss,

and thus be able to generate magnificent Bodhi (Enlightenment) vows, chant Buddha's name, and seek rebirth in the Western Land,

to become a Buddha, save suffering beings extensively, leave suffering behind, and see the light.

To act truthfully,

whether to hide or reveal, whatever is appropriate, express it truthfully,

when it should be revealed, do not hide it; when it should be hidden, do not reveal it. When all matters are fulfilled, this is what all beings wish for.

Universal Principles, Truth, and the Right Path truthfully manifest the laws of karma and cause and effect for every being,

within the retribution of good and evil, and within the unobstructed oneness.

To interact truthfully,

truthfully, every being possesses a true self / self-nature; this is the truth of reality.

To act truthfully is to act with a sincere heart,

through diligent practice, one can rediscover the true self / self-nature.

The principle of truthfulness,

the sacred name of Namo Amituofo can be chanted as one Buddha's name to the end,

in accordance with the Truth and the Dharma, it possesses the effects of purification, transformation, and the manifestation of Goodness,

it is the treasure for Bodhi (Enlightenment) and rebirth in the Western Pure Land.

The heart of truthfulness,

compassion, Wisdom (Prajna), mind-capacity, tolerance, joy, and the ability to let go,

when one engages in diligent practice and purification, these will naturally manifest, and one will attain truthfulness.
