Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:

Parents in this world give endlessly to their children without regard for toil,

hoping they will grow up smoothly, thrive, and become independent.

When parents grow old and ill, children should care for them with filial piety until the end of their lives.

This process unfolds within the laws of karma and cause and effect.

Buddha or Bodhisattva save beings without regard for toil, wishing only for them to leave suffering behind.

This is because Buddha or Bodhisattva have attained no-self and are selfless,

they do not calculate gains, losses, or their own toil,

instead, they give selflessly without expecting reward, sincerely hoping that beings will leave suffering behind,

with no concern for personal gain.

This is the magnificent and precious nature of encountering Buddha or Bodhisattva.

If one can clearly see the illusion of being reincarnated,

know that countless beings suffer endlessly within reincarnation,

and wish to leave suffering behind, enter the Buddha's path to practice, and seek liberation from the suffering of birth, death, and reincarnation,

the Pure Land Dharma Gate can fulfil this wish.

Within the Pure Land Dharma Gate, as self-power arises, one can receive the compassionate support of Namo Amituofo.

Through diligent practice, purification of the polluted habits brought from the past, change personality traits,

work without regard for toil, and seek to achieve spiritual achievements and Awakening,

only when one has achieved self-liberation can one have the ability to save sentient beings with karmic affinity and help them leave suffering behind.

Serving in the bodhimanda,

if one can work without regard for toil and just keep doing it, this also helps one dissolve spiritual obstacles, cultivate Blessings, and accumulate merit,

purification, and accumulate the provisions to resolve the conflict with beings and diligently attain Awakening.

Because beings see one's sincere heart in serving the bodhimanda, they are willing to cease their debt-collecting actions,

or they depart after receiving the merit and Blessings from serving the bodhimanda,

thereby dissolving karma and reducing sins, clearing away one layer of karma after another.

Furthermore, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, where Namo Amituofo is residing here,

one can receive the compassionate help of Namo Amituofo, the Teacher, and Practitioner Su, who work without regard for toil to resolve the conflict, invite spirits, and perform Chao Du,

helping the fourfold assembly (monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen) dissolve spiritual obstacles, spiritual progress is guaranteed to grow, and gain the opportunity for Awakening.
